Doesn't work
Tried placing the magnet where the old one went and then gradually moved it closer until it was physically touching the sensor and it still didn't read as "door shut". Multiple orientations tried. Needs stronger magnets.

Perfect replacement
This was a perfect replacement for one of our windows. It was much cheaper than a service visit through the security company.

Excellent product
The old metal contact fell off and was lost, instead of calling an alarm tech I figured I could fix the alarm contact on my own.The contact fix was a success and performs flawlessly.

They work well as a sensor, but they are a little hard to open
These work fine as a door/window sensor. They respond to the magnet just how you'd expect. The only gripe is that the contacts for the sensor are inside and it's a bit hard to get it open. It's even harder to get it back closed afterwards.
