If this box were UL Listed, I would give it all 5 stars. As a cable or coax box, it is perfect. It is well made of what appear very quality materials. The uses are endless. It does everything the listing says it will, better than I thought it could. It does not leak. It looks professional and it is sturdy. The clasps hold the door tightly shut. I would buy it again.

I got this TICONN outdoor electrical box because I needed something to protect some electrical connections and equipment outside, and so far I'm really happy with it. The box feels sturdy and much better made than I was expecting. It doesn't have that really thin, cheap plastic feel that some outdoor boxes have. There is a good amount of room inside for wiring, connectors, power supplies, or other small electrical components. I especially like having the ventilation holes because some of the equipment I wanted to put inside can generate a little heat. It's nice having some airflow instead of everything being completely sealed up inside a plastic box. The cover closes securely and everything fits together well. Once it's closed, it feels like it should do a good job protecting everything inside from rain, dirt, dust, and the general mess that comes with having electronics outdoors. Installation was pretty straightforward. There was enough room to work inside the box without feeling like I was trying to cram everything into a tiny space. Being able to organize the wiring inside also makes the finished setup look a lot cleaner than having cords and connections exposed. I also like that the box doesn't look bad once it's mounted. It's simple and clean looking, so it doesn't really stand out or draw attention to itself. The ventilation is probably what separates this one from a lot of the other outdoor junction boxes I've looked at. Just keep in mind that whenever you're dealing with outdoor electrical equipment, you still need to make sure you're installing everything correctly for your particular situation. Overall, this is a solid enclosure and exactly what I was looking for. It feels durable, has plenty of usable space inside, and the ventilation is a nice feature. Setup is easy thanks to the included wall-mounting hardware and sturdy latches, the clear cover allows quick visual checks, and the tight gasket seal handles typical rainfall well. The main drawbacks involve the ventilation. The pre-drilled ports help manage heat, but the vent caps need to be assembled by hand, and there is no foam filter or fine mesh to keep insects out. The holes are also placed at the same level rather than staggered at the top and bottom, which limits passive airflow. Even so, it remains a good-value option for protecting outdoor electronics.

Years ago, my electrician, who is also a good friend of mine, ran underground electrical lines to my outdoor water fountain. But it was just a single outlet meant only for the fountain's electric pump. So, it only had a small outlet cover. I recently decided to expand the setup by adding pond lights and some landscape lighting around the fountain. Before he comes over to do the work, my friend recommended that I order a larger outdoor electrical box so he would have enough protected space to safely house all of the additional electrical connections. When the box arrived, I was really happy with how thick the housing felt. Nothing about it felt cheap and the lid closes very tightly against the seal. The latches also lock down firmly and pull the lid tightly against the box. Before taking it over to my friend's house, I closed everything up and sprayed water all over the outside of it. Afterward, I dried off the exterior and opened the lid to see if anything had gotten through. And the inside was completely dry. I then brought the box over to my friend's house so he could look at it. And it didn’t take long for him to give his approval. He said it was a really good quality outdoor electrical box and would give him more than enough room for what he was going to add around the fountain. And when I told him the price was $38, he said that was definitely a good deal. So, I am really happy I ordered this one and would definitely recommend it.
