Having already hammered a standard socket over a locking wheel bolt where the ‘key’ had snapped when trying to undo and the socket started spinning I ordered these. On presenting to the wheel bolt it instantly gripped and with the aid of a long breaker bar it easily removed the broken wheel locking stud. Hopefully won’t need these too often but good to know they are there when all else fails. Seem sturdy enough although haven’t used with an impact gun yet. Quality seems good enough for my occasional use - but may be better out there if you plan on using everyday in a professional garage environment. Overall for the money, worked quickly and easily straight out the box, Exactly as had hoped. The drift included in the pack made light work of knocking out the damaged bolt from the socket and saved using a blunt screwdriver.

Not yet used with being dark when delivered so will update review once used!! But the quality of the sockets and tap out bar seem really well made! And the actual plastic box is also well made and sturdy! Not like the cheep flimsy ones that don’t lock after the first use!! Big shout to the suppliers for the speedy process in dispatch and keeping well informed on updates!! Thanks

UPDATE: after hammering several different sized sockets onto the bolt I had wore the edges down enough to fit the next size down in the extractor kit, lo and behold it worked! From 1 star to 4 shame the kit it now a socket down but at least the problem I bought it for has been solved Been tussling with a seized bolt on my van for so long the bolt had become rounded. I purchased these based on all the reviews and assumed the bolts days were numbered. Straight out the box and onto the bolt, 20 seconds later I thought I’d snapped the head clean off but no, it was the socket itself. I should add that I didn’t use an impact wrench, just my own strength and that was enough to break the socket in two.

Having made a complete mess of the simple task of removing a wheel of my car, I attempted many different ways of removing a over tighten and rounded wheel bolt. When swearing and name calling failed I bought a set of these and after 2 minutes my wheel was final off. Great product, simple to use and incredibly effective I'll never weld a nut on to a wheel stud again.

Very poor quality, had to use it for the first time today to remove 3 log nuts, first bolt it worked a treat, second one was already a struggle but third one was impossible to remove as the inner edges got completely round. Unfortunately I can’t return it anymore because it’s too late. Good for one time use, if you need to remove more bolts stay away. Not happy at all.

Was about to start a break pads job but unfortunately the studs had been gunned in to roughly a million lb/ft. baught these as a last hope…. WoW definitely worth the money all day long, would recommend to anyone who’s not sure what brand to buy

Vienen en una caja 4 extractores y un botador. Ha llegado rapidísimo no los he empleado aun y como siempre digo con estas herramientas mejor no tener que utilizarlos pues hay probabilidad de conflicto en su uso. Tienen buen acabado y son de acero, aunque se pueden utilizar con llaves manuales, es mejor utilizar una llave neumática de impacto. He leído que algunos usuarios no saben para que sirve la barra botador que se incluye en la caja. Esta barra tiene dos usos , el primero y mas obvio es extraer la tuerca que hemos sacado pues queda apretada entre los dientes de la llave. Hay otro uso, antes de proceder a la extracción se hecha aceite penetrante en la tuerca se pone la llave y se introduce el botador. Se dan unos golpes fuertes al botador con un martillo para obligar a despegar el tornillo y la tuerca , a continuación se procede a extraer la tuerca. Si damos un toque de calor con el soplete de acetileno antes de la extracción mejor irán las cosas. Por cierto recordar que estos extractores son para tuercas, tornillos y espárragos normales es decir con apriete en el sentido de las agujas de reloj.
