Yes it is. I find the olive oil one gives a very strong hold, but if I have too much in, it leaves flakes. This one leaves no flakes and smells very nice. When I want to slick my hair in a bun, I smooth this down with a brush and put my scarf on for minimum 10 mins

Does it work on straight hair ?

Don’t waste your hard earned cash! I used it once. It has no smell and no hold qualities. I binned it!
