BarCraft KCBCSHOT 25ml Spirit Measure and Bottle Pourer, Black, 9.5 x 3.5 cm

I don't normally bother to write reviews but I have decided to in this case because of the poor reviews that this product has received nearly put me off buying it.For less than £5 I took a gamble and glad that I did. It's really very simple, you push it on the top of your bottle of spirits, turn it upside down and out comes a single shot. I've weighed the shot to check it's accuracy and it's bang on. I've got 2 and both work perfectly well. Not sure how and why people are having issues with leaking and inaccurate measurements.

If you want pourer which gives you 25ml every time, then do not buy this. As the amount of liquid vary all the time. I have test it and the range was from 17ml to 46ml of liquid. You would be better to buy free flow pourer and use 25ml measures. I rate this product one star as I cannot rate it nil star. I bought other "automatic" pourers, but it seems to be same problem with them.I returned this product back as defective, I had to pay £3.15 for recorded return postage. Got all money back for pourer. I had to ask for return postage money. Was told that is my responsibility to pay it, as item was not defected, but I argue that it did not work as it should and thus it is not fit for purpose. I told them to send this pourer to Consumer show on Northampton BBC radio for them to try it and test it, but seller told he already sold it as there was nothing wrong with it, he claimed. I asked hit to send another pourer to BBC radio Northampton, to test it and if they would find it working O.K. I offered I would be paying all the postage the seller would pay to send it to radio, but seller suddenly told me he sold all pourers. Seller told me I should pay £0.50 for return postage and send it as large letter, but the pourer is over 25mm which means it cannot be sent as large letter, but as packet. Seller blamed post office for overcharging me and I should take it up with them. Seller refunded me only £0.50 in the end.I just warn you about this item and doggy customer service of this seller before you buy

For alcohol only I tryed it with oil but didnt work other then that is very good product and I will be buying more of these

great for pouring spirits

Disappointed with this purchase. Used a measuring cup to test the accuracy of the measure and regularly it came out at 20ml. Not much good.

A bit "plasticky" but works really well, an accurate 25ml every time and no drips nor messing about with thimble measures or optics.

The bung is tapered so fits several bottle sizes including plastic cooking oil bottle. I actually bought it to measure oil rather than spirits, and it seems to pour either half a tablespoon or just over a tablespoon amount. Maybe I need to learn the knack of it.Either way, it avoids hurling too much oil in the cooking so is doing what I wanted it for.

Worked great for 3 pours then jammed open. Its just a spout now......

Ottimo prodotto, escono 2 cl di liquido e poi si blocca. Capovolgere velocemente la bottiglia completamente a testa in giù.

Don’t like them when all leak wouldn’t buy again

Gesucht hatte ich einen Portionierer für 25 ml. Die Menge war in diesem Fall sehr wichtig. Sofort nach Eintreffen probierte ich das Produkt aus. Die Menge kam mir verdächtig klein vor. Also nahm ich einen geeichten Messbecher, in den ich hintereinander 10 Shots einfüllte. Damit sollten einzelne kleine Abweichungen kompensiert werden. 10 Shots ergaben 155 ml, also im Schnitt 15,5 ml statt 25. Das ist eine Abweichung von 38%. Damit ist das Produkt für meinen Zweck völlig unbrauchbar. Wem es nicht so genau drauf ankommt, dem mag das Teil genügen. Aber dann muss man sich die Frage stellen, ob es überhaupt eines Portionierers bedarf. Ich behaupte, dass ich ohne Portionierer näher an 25 ml bin.
