I have used many different brands of trimmers and have always found Wahl to be better than the rest. Their blades tend to be sharper than others. This is a trimmer I bought exclusively to line my beard, before I used a foil trimmer to get a neat finish on the rest of my face. However, the blades were sharp enough that I didn't really need to use a foil trimmer, as this does the job to 90% of the level anyway. This ended up saving so much time for me in general. My advice would be to try this out, as you won't regret it, even for the high price.

Giving this 3 stars because the finish was brilliant and the battery was great but it broke on the 7th time i used it broke and stopped working for no reason It’s a same for wahl maybe i got a dodgey one

I had seen this at my local barber's so I bought it to supplement my Wahl Super Trimmer as the latter seemed underpowered. The Beret did not disappoint, it is considerably more powerful and gives a more precise cut to the Super Trimmer by some margin. The Beret is a bit smaller but the head size is the same. The back plate of the Beret seems smoother though so this might explain the better cut. Apart from not being able to charge it from a USB plug-in (handy in my camper van so it loses one star for this) and having yet another charging lead to take round with you it is faultless.

My husband was recommended this brand from a hair stylist. I bought this for him, and he absolutely loves it. He said it is perfect. Good service. Great quality.

I purchased this to use as a beard trimmer and the product is completely useless. The attachment for the blades comes off so easily that it’s impossible to complete a shave without it slipping off and causing me to create bald patch. What a complete and utter waste of money. So annoyed that this happened as I pushed my budget to what I thought would be the best in the market.

Within the first week of receiving the trimmer the wireless function stopped working entirely and would refuse to charge, only way to use it now is to have it plugged into a wall outlet, save ur money buy a different trimmer..
