could I use these for my washing machine

I used mine for a heavy automatic machine on a vinyl floor and it made moving it very easy.

No, they don't stick on. You simply place them under the corners or legs of heavy furniture which then lets you easily slide the furniture across the floor. They are well worth the cost and save struggling to move furniture.

I would like to use these as castors to protect carpet from heavy suite and to make it more easy to move suite. will they do both these things?

Would have thought if furniture very heavy anything would dent a carpet. However these disks make sliding heavy things very easy. I have mine under the legs of a very very heavy oak dining table. Looked under the legs and yes there is a dent in carpet but as I say you would expect that. I think they are fantastic and for two oldies it has meant we can keep our lovely table!

Can they be used on cushion floor

I am not sure as I didn't try them on cushion floor. One observation is that the base of the slider is solid plastic and as such may cause friction on cushion floor if not properly cleaned. All I can say is that we moved a piano over thresh-holds and carpets without any problems at all. Good luck if you decide to try it and for the small cost, it may be worth it.
