How can I clean the straightening brush? I put product in my hair to protect it from the heat that ends up on the brush which makes it sticky.

Here are 5 Steps guide on cleaning your straightening brush:
1: Take the heat brush that requires cleaning. Unplug it and let it cool down if you have just been using it.
2: Apply the rake-like part of the cleaning tool to remove the hair and bigger pieces of residue. Repeat till there is none left.
3: For fine cleaning, use a toothbrush or the little cleaning brush in box. You can apply rubbing alcohol or other cleaning agent for this job, to make sure you remove the bacteria and other potentially dangerous micro-objects.
4: To finish the cleaning, use the cloth dampened in warm water.
5: Let the hair straightener brush completely dry before plugging it again.

What is the difference between these 2 products?

The only difference is the color. I have the Black one. I do love it as it straightens my hair better then a flat iron. I have course hair and curly at the roots and this brush flattens my roots as well.  I love this brush.
