Star Wars - Jedi Hooded Bathrobe

I bought one of these in October, 2011 and another December, 2017 from "Find Me a Gift" via Amazon.I bought the recent one to replace the original (at nearly 1/2 the price), but they are totally different (despite linking to the product from my original order), and this explains the many reviews with conflicting descriptions of this robe.The new robe is a cheapish lightweight fleece, the original a fairly robust towelling material, which I much prefer.To be fair, it IS described as a fleece robe ... now, but I do wish suppliers wouldn't reuse product listings like this.I'd give the towelling version 4 stars and the fleece version 3 stars. The one advantage of the latter is that it's much lighter; the towelling robe *is* fairly heavy, while the fleece is featherweight.

Can't fault the service, very fast.Given as a gift and very much loved by the new owner, he wears it every day.It's thinner than I expected, but he tells me it is warm and cosy.Lovely soft plush fabric!I saw some complaints in other reviews about the patch, on this one the logo was embroidered directly onto the gown and is fantastic, no loose threads or anything.I was a bit worried about the sizing as my fella is an XL it is loose on him, as it must be on all Jedi's so Small to medium adults will find it very generous and warm.Supplied with an official Star Wars tag.Can't fault product or service, perfect.

On these cold winter nights, after a long day at work, I like nothing better than to relax on the sofa with a good smoke, a fine beverage, and my feet warming in front of a log fire. The problem I've had for many years is that every dressing gown I have ever owned has been too small, or too thick, or not thick enough.Not any more.This is just about the most perfect "chill out at home" garment ever invented. You can keep your onesies. You can keep your slipper pouches. You can keep your blankets. I've found this - and it's singularly one of the best purchases I've ever made.It's very long, but can be short. It's got a hood. Or not. The fact that it's a Star Wars tie-in is both a blessing and a curse. For some, they will not see past the fact that it's a "Jedi costume" - ignoring the very practical & enjoyable aspects of simply wearing it. In a recent trip to Holland, this was the first thing I packed. Fortunately, the material meant it could be rolled up easily in a case.Can not recommend this garment highly enough.

After reading the reviews about this item, I went for this over the bath robe. My boyfriend loves it, but as the other reviews state is is huge. Like really huge. The arms are baggy, and the hood is very long, perfect for those wanabe Jedis. My boyfriend is about 5ft 8 or 9, and the length is just right, about 5 inches or so off the floor.They do not do this in a small, I checked the web, medium is like a large really, but it isn't so thick that it would be uncomfortable to wear.My guy had it wrapped round him pretty comfortably, and he was ever so snugly, so will save on the heating this year too!My 4stars is purely due to the size, it is well made, and it looks awesome, lots of fun too. Good item for the price.

I was looking for a new bath robe and something to wear to a fancy dress party so this robe let me solve both issues. Yes, it is big (I am 6'3" tall and this robe reaches down to mid-calf) but it is very comfortable. I looked at similar fleece version which were £10 or so cheaper but I am glad I went for cotton. It does indeed have a luxury feel and is particularly great for when you are feeling under the weather.The force is definitely strong in this one.Not sure why Amazon is asking for ratings for this robe related to how good it is as a toy.Update - In the films you often hear Jedi masters warning their pupils to be "mindful of their feelings". What you don't ever hear them say is 'Be mindful of your sleeves, especially at the breakfast table.'Eating toast without dipping your sleeves in the marmalade is clearly a little-know Jedi skill that needs to be mastered if you buy this robe.

Great quality product and my boyfriend loves it! It is a very long dressing gown, it almost touches the floor when he wears and he is 6ft 3, and it absolutely drowns me when I wear it (5ft 2). So just a warning for you fellow littleys.

Large is absolutely enormous. My husband is 6ft2 and 48" chest and it drowned him! Comms were good but to send it back ot was going to cost me twice the amount I paid for it! O thought it was from a UK seller...it's not it's from China

The material was a little thinner than standard dressing gown fleece but that doesn’t matter as its warm and comfortable. The size is very generous and fit my 6’2” boyfriend with ease and plenty of crossover fabric.
