Disney animated version of the classic fairy tale. When a prince is turned into a hideous beast by a magical spell, he finds that the only way out of his predicament is to win the love of the beautiful Belle. Belle agrees to come and stay at his home in exchange for the freedom of her father, whom the Beast had previously captured. At first she is repulsed by his hideous features, but as time passes she learns to recognise his true inner beauty. The enhancement of the picture along with the depth in colours really adds a new level. So much that the original artistry is really prominent and I found myself exploring parts of the picture you just wouldn't focus on or notice before. From the detailing in the stones on the bridges to the greenery in the forest. I don't have a fancy sound system but I'm sure that will have been upgraded from the blu ray as well. The only minor disappointment is that the film is the only content that is in 4k and on the 4k disc and there's not even the special version (including the added song 'human again'). There is a blu ray version included in the box but then it's a compromise between special version and features or 4k version. I'd recommend it, especially if you are a Beauty and the Beast fan.

Brilliant
I’ve never watched this move even though I work in childcare and my friends were shocked that I’d never seen it so I got it, cozied up on the sofa with my cup of tea and watched it by myself and I absolutely loved the movie. My favourite Disney animated film
My favourite Disney animated film, it just doesn't put a foot wrong from start to finish. I had to buy another copy as I managed to lose my original (eek!) In my opinion it's better than the new live action version (good as it is). Brilliant voice actors, songs & great animation which still looks good today.

Nice 4K Transfer
The 4K version is stunning in Dolby Vision. However, I am struggling to believe this could really happen. I mean a talking teapot. I have in the past had my kettle and microwave talk to me and tell me that my neighbours were spying on me, but a teapot? Come on.!!

Reliving the past!
Amazing remaster, watched in awe with the whole family as we relived a true animated classic, some say Cinderella, Snow White or Sleeping Beauty are better but Beauty and the Beast is a true Classic that stands alone in comparison to other Disney Classics in the fact that the audio and visual quality, especially in the remaster is truly stunning.

So write up a review of the movie. My guess is no one would care to read it anyway. There are thousands on Amazon already (that I promptly ignore anyway in favor of movie review sites). Instead I'm reviewing the disk. Yes, this is a UK Blu-ray. However, when you receive it you'll see it is a region free disk. Blu-ray's are divided into 3 geographical regions. A, B, and C. The US is in A whereas the UK is in B. However, there is a little icon on the back that looks like three hexagons with an A, B, and C in them. This means the disk will play in any region of the world. I am in the US and I had no problems with playing the disk in my Blu-ray player. I also read people saying they received counterfeit discs. Well, I can't say what others received, but I received what appears to be a genuine Disney Blu-ray. The case, jacket, and disc itself all appeared high quality and original. As far as languages go, yes the disc includes many languages but the first one in the list was English. I don't really mind that it also has a Hindi audio track as long as English is on there. The reality is I bought this version for a fraction of what the US version is currently going for so I couldn't be happier.

I love this show ! I think this is a show for the whole family. It's one of my favorite Disney movies, in animation that is! I highly recommend this show for family viewing.

Neben Arielle, Aladdin und König der Löwen ein maßgeblicher Film der 90er Disney Animation. Bild und Ton sind optimal. Besser konnte man den Film zuvor nur im Kino erleben. Und ja. Der Prinz in seiner Originalgestalt ist immer noch gewöhnungsbedürftig 😁 Trotzdem klare Kaufempfehlung
