Era Organics Vitamin C Face Cream - Brightening Anti-Aging Moisturizer

This face cream is by far the best I've tried. I have extremely sensitive skin that also gets quite dry, and I live in a cold windy climate that isn't kind to it. I've wasted so much money on expensive creams that only ended up irritating my skin and making it worse. So I didn't really let myself get my hopes up before I ordered this, but I needed something so I thought why not give it a shot. I'm a hairstylist, and my favorite hydrating shampoo has Kakadu Plum, so I was excited to try a face product that included it. Let me just say, even my skeptics self was completely impressed from the very first use. This cream feels luscious and incredible on my skin, and doesn't cause any sensation of burning or stinging when applied (which was a problem I encountered with every other cream I had tried). Within a few days, my skin was glowing and moisturized. Even though it's thick and creamy, it absorbs beautifully and doesn't leave any oily look behind. Just that awesome glow of great skin! It's the middle of a very cold winter and I can't believe how great my face feels. I am so happy I tried this product.

I really like this cream. The instructions stated to use a dime size amount and I assumed I needed more. I used bigger than dime-sized and found that it covered both my face and neck sufficiently without feeling like it was too much and also without my face feeling dry where I would need more. There is little to no scent and it is pleasant. I first used it at night after washing my face and when I woke up my face was not as oily as it usually is first thing in the morning. My face gets oily easily, especially if not moisturized adequately as the oils are being produced in an attempt to hydrate the face. I also break out easily along my jaw and it didn’t give me any new breakouts and didn’t exacerbate my current ones. I feel like this really moisturized my face without having to use too much and my face didn’t feel oily from heavy greasy cream like other brands. Would definitely recommend to others as in addition to effectiveness, it was also a great deal for the price.

I waited over a week before I wrote this review. 1) First time I put it on it left my skin feeling dry and tight. The next time it didn't have that effect anymore. Almost like it reset the natural oils of my skin. Now it's very moisturizing. 2) If you use too much it will flake off. Only use a little and don't rub it in too much. Let it soak in. I don't use makeup but I assume it would not be great under make-up because of the flaking. 3) It doesn't really smell. Only a little undescribable smell that goes away quickly. 4) Leaves my skin looking fresh. It doesn't break me out or irritates my sensitive skin. All in all: if they would figure out how to fix the flaking it would be the best moisturizer EVER!

I really really love this cream. I already suffer from super dry skin, but it gets worse in winter, and from spring to summer when I start using the AC and run 2 fans in my room during the night. It naturally dries my skin out even more, so I need extra hydration. I have been using this cream liberally with almost a full dropper of Argan oil right before bed and it has been an amazing source of hydration! I just wish a larger sized jar was offered as I will probably use this up pretty quickly, but I will definitely be repurchasing. I love that the ingredients are simple, gentle and effective. I fully recommend! Update: I went to reorder this right before I ran out of my first jar and found that era organics (specifically this cream) was no longer on Amazon. I almost cried! I purchased another vit C cream from another seller, same size for nearly twice the price, and it did nothing for my face. This one is back in stock and my face is happy again! This is hands down the best night cream I have ever used. My face just glows when I use it and it provides the perfect amount of moisture! No greasiness, no heaviness, no residue in the morning when I wake up..just soft, plump, moisturized skin. I’m in love. Please don’t ever stop making this!

Night cream

I took a chance on this. I have combination acne prone skin. I was looking for a moisturizer that would help the dry patches I got from this harsh winter. When I see the word "oil" used too many times in the ingredients I tend to shy away. (ie. Avacado oil, olive oil, and so on...) However, this cream soaked right in. Makes my skin feel wonderful. No breakouts. Doesn't feel oily. I also wanted to find something that would benefit my skin overall. This cream is a great moisturizer, but it also rejuvenates, reduces redness and promotes cell renewal. It's advertised as "anti aging", but I was attracted to it for it's vitamin c, that helps hyperpigmentation from past acne. I'm 26, and I use "anti aging" products. Why? I've found that anti acne products can be too harsh, and actually cause more irritation and breakouts. I put "anti aging" in quotation marks because all that means is it, protects your skin, rejuvenates it, and keeps it happy. People read "anti aging" and immediately think, that's for people with wrinkles. Duh. It prevents wrinkles! Start using it BEFORE you age!

My mid-life skin loves this cream. I use it daily September-May. In the summer, I seem to have naturally oiler skin and don't need it as often.

The first thing I look at when considering buying a product is if it is cruelty free and this is! It is loaded with all natural ingredients that help improve the look, feel and overall health of your skin. I feel that after using it for about a week, my skin is much less dry looking, it has a smoother look and my skin tone has also evened out which is amazing. I also think that some of my fine lines have gone away!! It is on the thicker side without feeling super heavy, my skin feels moisturized but without the heavy feeling like I smeared grease all over my face haha. I would have given it 5 stars but the smell of it is not very appealing at all. I have used my fair share of natural creams and lotions and know to not expect the fake perfume smell however, I know that there are essential oils that can do amazing things for your skin and maybe if they added enough of one, or some, of those, they could improve the smell! Other than that, I like this product and would recommend it!
