Does this have any artificial ingredients?

Yes. It contains Titanium Dioxide and Phenoxyethanol. Just got mine and will be returning after reading the ingredients.

Is this best to use at night?

I use it in the morning. Wash, pat dry, apply this Vitamin-C Face Moisturizer Cream, let it absorb, apply foundation makeup. I think this cream would be fine for night time also as it is so natural. I usually don't use any cream at night, just wash, pat dry and let my face breathe all night. But, that's just me. Applying it as I do, once a day, has been amazing for my skin. Applying it at night, also, would probably be twice as good!

Does it contain phenoxyethanol?

Hi, Yes we use less than 1%. Phenoxyethanol is one of the few preservatives that do not turn into formaldehyde. We wish we didn’t have to use any preservative, but at the low amounts we use, it is the safest bet. Best Heather Customer Care
