After shopping many similar sounding products I settled on this but was worried about fit, flexibility or heat. Very satisfied on all 3. I am 6'1" @ 200 lbs and got XL. It is the right length and waist is comfortable (with drawstring tied comfortably can still take on/off without untying yet not slipping down). They're not too tight and move flexibly when pedaling, don't notice any constraint. Narrow ankle was easy to get on and no concerns about bike chain. I don't like "tights" and these have the look I'm comfortable with. They felt "warm" just putting them on in the house. Based on reviews for this or similar items, I was concerned whether too hot. As I start my rides in 40 F temp, other parts are chilled but not legs. Once I'm warmed up and especially after tougher hills, legs did feel warm but by opening my jacket, the cooler upper seemed to ease the lower heat and remained very comfortable. Read some reviews (on this or others) about sweat so when I removed after long ride I turned inside out just to be sure, but saw no evidence of moisture. The inside is soft and comfortable and hip pockets are fine/accessible with zippers. I will update in the future as to how they hold up.I've used these pants with thermals underneath in 27°F weather and was almost too warm on the bike. Not once did I feel cold. I was pretty surprised and they were very comfortable. I felt like I was able to move freely due to the slight stretch but they also stayed very close to my body which was nice. There are zippers near the bottom leg opening that adjust nicely. I don't use cycling shorts but they would fit underneath if one chose to use them. My second ride was at 42°F with 13mph winds and did not wear thermals underneath this time. Still felt nice and warm and I think if it was 50°F it might be too warm for these pants.Sizing seems okay if slightly small. I'm a 5'11 male at 180 pounds. I am not a very athletic build and ordered a size XL which seems perfect. Length was perfect which was something I was worried about as I have longer legs.Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone riding in colder weather. It beats the heck out of wearing jeans and will keep you warm and comfortable.
