good product but very small and prone to snapping , i wanted them to attach a MDF cover over an open fire place with a steel frame for the winter as its the source of cold blasts of air , i figured screwing and supergluing them would stop them pulling off the MDF , the magnets are very small , button sized and smaller than my smallest screws but quite strong , if you over tighten the screws they will snap apart from that they seem to work well

These are great little magnets. Very strong for their size. Unfortunately they weren't usable for their intended purpose so they were returned. The finish on them is very good and being countersunk allows them to be installed in many places for many uses. The packaging was fine and there were bars at each end to hold the magnets together (the magnets themselves having be tightly packed in a small plastic bag) so care had been taken to try and make sure they arrived in one piece. I had no broken magnets but by definition, Neodymium is a very brittle rare earth material and are prone to corrosion so breakages can happen. Overall I thought they were very good for the price. Remember to slide the magnets apart rather than pull them apart which helps keep the risk of breaking them to a minimum. I also only tightened the screw very carefully until it bit so there was only light pressure on the magnet.

These are good, very strong magnets. They were great at finding the nails in plaster board, which meant that I had found the partition studs in the walls, to enable the fitting of shelves. I was a little surprised that one of the ten magnets broke when it hit the laminate flooring! Overall I was very pleased with how these magnets have saved me a lot of work.

Fundamentally, these magnets are exactly what they say they are. Little magnets with holes in them for attaching to things with screws. On the negative side they are brittle and I do not believe that one of these magnets could lift a 1.2Kg weight (although much stronger than a 'normal' magnet. If you screw them to something, be gentle - they are little and brittle and will snap given half a chance. At the same time, don't allow them to fly onto other magnetic things as the impact will snap them. I've screwed all mine to a little piece of wood to sweep the garage floor for screws and nails but I think I might need some bigger versions as these have to be virtually touching something to pull a screw onto them.

Rare earth magnets are vastly stronger than the usual feeble magnets. These are advertised as having a pull strength of over kilo, which I can quite believe. They are the size of small buttons. With a countersunk hole, it is easy to screw these onto a piece of wood. The exposed top side has a polarity, either north or south. Both north and south will stick to ferrous metal, and will stick to each other. If you need an even greater pull strength, then you can double up the magnets. The magnets are well packed, I was a bit worried when mine arrived packed with a CD, but the CD was fine. These are strong enough to affect pacemakers, watches, etc, so they are not for children or careless handling. Full safety instructions are included. Now that I have these, I can think of a myriad of potential uses around the house, fit a mending plate to one surface and a rare earth magnet to the other and you have a firm grip. These must be one of the coolest DIY supplies ever.

Not very large, but quite powerful. I've got them screwed to the bulkhead in my camper. The new style torches have magnets on them, and they hang up on these very well. They arrive looking like a tube of Polo mints, all stuck in a line together. And they are the very devil to separate. I used a sharp kitchen knife. It works well but you have to be careful. And when separated, don't idly put one down. It will shoot straight back to the others. Quick delivery and well packed. Recommended product and seller.

Excellent little magnets. I will firstly point out to the advertiser... If the magnet is 2mm thick, how can it have a 3mm countersink? Not making an argument, I would question the 1.2Kg pulling strength... I would suggest maybe more. I mean, they're freaking hard to separate. Like I said... not making an argument. I would definitely recommend owning a set of these just to have on hand.

5 étoiles pour ces tous petits aimants mais puissants ! je m'en suis servi pour fixer un plateau métallique porte verres (environ 150grs) sur ma crédence. 2 aimants m'ont été nécessaire. Attention ! 1,2kg de traction sud signifie que l'aimant va supporter ce poids avec l'objet sous l'aimant, sans qu'il ne tombe. L'aimant placé derrière un objet métallique ne supportera pas les 1,2kg. l'objet glissera. La finition est propre et le perçage idéal pour fixer l'aimant avec une petite vis.

Son muy prácticos por el avellanado que facilita pegarlos a casi cualquier material. Solo hay que tener en cuenta dos cosas: Utilizar un tornillo de cabeza plana que no sobresalga para no disminuir la superficie de adherencia y no apretar muy fuerte el tornillo porque hay peligro de que se parta el imán. A mi me pasó con uno aunque aproveche las dos mitades para otra cosa pegándolas con silicona.
