I NEVER review anything but I had to review this. My back and front garden is normally swamped with ants nests causing a lot roaming on the pavement slabs all spring and summer. Now the spring has sprung I wanted to prevent the ants from roaming as much as they normally do! I normally use powders but they blow/wash away quite easily and it’s quite messy! So I tried to find an alternative and found this! I’ve used the watering can all over my front and back grass / pavements / door frames etc. for 2 days now I have seen NO ANTS in front or back garden and have been sitting outside most of those days. This stuff is really worth a buy. Easy to apply and works brilliantly. Just what it says on the tin! I have used nearly 2 cans of this however we do have quite a large space to cover. I have some left in the second can to put over any nests I may see appear in the next few months. So far I’m so so impressed 5 star from me !! I’ll repurchase when needed !

It worked straight away, I used it in July and to date not one ant have I seen.The reason I gave it 4 stars is the container it came in wasn't ideal for pouring,I put it in a watering can which was easier to apply and no wastage. Will definitely be buying more.

I bought this in 2021 and left in several bags and it's original bubble wrap up until now. I basically forgot I had it. I was moving things around in the shed in preparation for gardening and the yearly war on they little scumbags and came across this. I have "watered" the patio and some of the areas they emerge from research year and aside from three odd stray have seen a noticeable decrease in activity. I haven't moved into the driveway yet but am confident that there will be similar results. Now I would have thought it would have lost it's effectiveness and perhaps it has but not enough to buy work for a short time. It was kept in a box which was waterproof and damp proof so that might have helped. In any case I'm fairly impressed. I gave other weapons on hand still but will must likely but another canister. Now that it is heavy and can need cumbersome. If you've ever filled a watering can up and tried to be precise with one hand you'll understand what I mean. But thatc aside it works well and the watering rose allows for reasonably precise distribution. Oh and it was wrapped and protected exceptionally well on delivery.

Not worked

I love this stuff. I think it’s the third time I’ve purchased it and it always delivers. I don’t like killing any insects but ants had destroyed my lawn, it was so uneven. Now when I see slightest ant hill appearing I spike the ground around it and pour on ant gone. The ant hill never becomes anything. I assume over the last couple of years ants have relocated to somewhere else as my problem has completely gone apart from the odd episode. Ant gone does not effect grass making it the ideal solution. It is not the cheapest on the market but it’s a large container and goes a long way. Sometimes you will see a deal if you order two at the same time.

Treated the area which had a high concentration of ants and within twenty four hours the infestation was almost completely gone. Gave another application the following day and haven't seen a single ant since. The reason for deducting a star was because the item arrived poorly packaged and leaking into the bag it was contained in.
