Reiki for Life: The Complete Guide to Reiki Practice for Levels 1, 2 & 3

I cannot recommend this book enough. It was easy to understand and extremely well written. I find with lots of healing books you can get lost in 'spiritual babbling and affirmations' but this book was a absolute pleasure to read. I didn't want to put it down. Full of well illustrated, easy to follow diagrams of all the reiki hand positions and symbols and well explained. I have only read upto the 1st degree as I didn't want to overwhelm myself with too much information even before I had been attuned to 1st degree. I even prefer this books hand positions and procedures to my own reiki masters tuition manual on completing my attunement. You will not be disappointed with this book.

Has a Reiki master teacher , this book offers so much information for students and more than enough has a teaching aid . its very well written , never dull. the author obviously is a very enlightened human and this comes through off the page . So if you are thinking of learning Reiki or teaching it out and need a basis for the work in all of the levels , buy this book , you will never regret spending your money .

Really good,easy to understand book.for beginners to reiki I would say,gives very detailed information about what to expect when you start a spiritual journey into reiki.i was attuned with a former student of Penelope,and it's best book to buy,read and use as a reference book as you journey through ,good size book,print,and really good price.

brilliant book, i had my level 1 in jan and have been practising daily. this book explains a lot of questions that i had that wasnt explained to me. its easy to read but is indepth and also explains the science behind things and not just says it happens because..... im scientifically minded and love this book

I bought this after having done level 1 and will be using it again next month when preparing level 2. Very complete and not badly written. The hand positions weren't all the same as those I learnt with my reiki master, but that only gave me added information!

I am still reading it. However, I wanted to do my review. I find it very easy to understand and to read. It covers all questions you could come up regarding Reiki. I am enjoying it mainly because of the way the writer explains it all. I will do another review when finished but so far highly recommended.

As a level 2 student I have bought several books (maybe too many even) trying to find the ultimate book that had ease of information, showed with simplicity and precision all the hand positions, and gave me an overall insight of not just the Reiki history but also a scientific studies background the connects all the dots. If you can only invest in 1 book, make this the one

I bought this book between studying my Reiki 1 and 2 courses and it's been hugely helpful in filling in some gaps for me as well as confirming what I had learnt already. I feel prepared and ready for learning more and developing my skills in the future.

It is a detailed book on Reiki with western thoughts. Every thing there is clear and vivid. No regreat on buying.

Even though I have taken Reiki courses (1,2, and 3 levels) many years ago, while browsing on Amazon, when I came across this revised and updated 400 pages soft cover book, (Reiki for life: The complete guide to Reiki practice for level 1, 2, & 3 by Penelope Quest), I decided to purchase it. I have read numerous books over the years on Reiki, and I found this one to be one of the very best I have read recently. This excellent and very detailed book covers an enormous amount of material in a clear and easy to understand way. The great illustrations show exactly the places to apply the Reiki techniques for healing. This very informative guide is organized into five parts. Part one explains the “simplicity and power: Reiki healing energy.” The second part covers “activating your healing channel, Reiki first degree.” The third part focuses on “developing your understanding: Reiki second degree.” The fourth part deals with “your continuing steps along the Reiki path.” The final part is about following “the Japanese tradition” of learning Reiki. I found this book to be an excellent guide and reference source for anyone interested in Reiki healing energy training. It even lists the many different Reiki healing systems being taught worldwide. Also ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Buch! Es ist informativ, sehr interessant und enthält gute Tipps. Am Anfang hatte ich Sorge, dass es zu sehr einem langwierigen Sachbuch ähnelt, doch ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht. Werde seit einem halben Jahr zur Reikiheilerin ausgebildet und dieses Buch habe ich mir als zusätzliche Hilfe geholt. Es ist wirklich hilfreich, kann ich nur empfehlen!

I was suprised by how well this book and information was presented. There are several pictures to help show you how to use the information. It is easy too understand and follow with detailed instructions and flows well and in the perfect order not jumping all over the place.
