Fantastic kitchen kit!!!
Amazing, sturdy piece of kitchen kit. No issues with the handle. Made basic pasta with 200g 00 flour and 2 large eggs. Ran it through from 7-1 and then made spaghetti. Great homemade pesto to go with it, olives and fresh mozzarella. So easy to use, clean and very reasonably priced. Fresh pasta tastes so good!

Life is too short - eat pasta!
This is going to be a lengthy review as it's something I'm passionate about. I love to cook and in particular making my own pasta. I've been making pasta by hand for over 30 years now but using this pasta machine for about three years! You can make it easily enough by hand but using one of these rollers makes the job ten times quicker. . . At the end of this review I will explain how to make a basic pasta dough. Just for anybody who's just dipping their toe into the homemade pasta process, mooching about Amazon looking at these pasta machines. It's so easy and the results are so much better than shop bought dry pasta. I've added a few pics to the bottom of this review. Two of pasta and the machine and one of a salmon tagliatelle made using the machine. What's the machine like? Cracking build quality with this one. Made from chrome plated stainless steel with nickel plated rollers, this thing will last for donkeys years if looked after. This also means it's extremely rust resistant. Solidly made with a bit of weight to it. It comes in a box in two parts which just slot together. The turning handle and tabletop clamp are also in the box. The pasta rollers have thickness settings of 0 (thickest) to 9 (thinnest). On the other side you get two cutting rollers being a 2mm for spaghetti and a 6.5mm for tagliatelle. Of course you can just roll your pasta and use it as lasagne sheets or cut it by hand for ravioli. You can also buy the ravioli cutter/rollers for this machine if you want. How does it work? Dead easy! You just just slot the two sections together - clamp it down to wherever you're going to use it and it's good to go! I would advise that you make sure you have enough clear space either end to move the pasta around. You can sometimes be handing a two foot long sheet of pasta before you cut it! Once you have your ball of fresh pasta dough you need to get it into the right shape to enable it to pass through the rollers - so it needs to start out flat! I'll go onto how you get it like that at the end. So you start off on the zero roller setting and pass your pasta through to thin it out then work your way through the settings 1-2-3-4-5 etc until you get the thickness you want. I run it through three times on every setting. Note - if you think it's getting sticky/jammed a bit, then dust the sheet of pasta with as little flour as possible - it will help it go through nicely. Now you have your rolled sheet of pasta. If it's too long to handle just cut it in half to make it more manageable. Dust with flour again and pass it through the cutters to get a neat and tidy portion of spaghetti or tagliatelle. So how do you make your own pasta at home? It's easier than you might think! You'll need - 150g of '00' flour 50g of Durum wheat semolina 2 x medium eggs Note - You could just use 200g of the '00' flour if you can't get hold of the semolina. That is it! - Put your flour into a bowl and make a well - crack the eggs in - Using a fork mix the flour&eggs incorporating all the flour - this will take about 5 minutes. - Tip the dough mix out onto a board and work it into a ball of pasta dough. Keep kneeding and stretching it with the heel of your hand - folding back onto itself over and over again for about 15 to 20 minutes. You will end up with a beautiful smooth shiny ball of pasta dough. Wrap this in cling film and let it rest for 30 minutes. Then it's ready to use with the pasta machine. To prepare your dough for the machine - with a ball this size I cut it into four pieces. Get a piece and roll it into a ball. Using a rolling pin (or wine bottle if you haven't got a rolling pin) roll the ball out flat to about 2mm thick. Fold the edges of the sides into the centre and roll again, turn it around and repeat this several times until you are happy that you have a nice consistent length of pasta dough that will fit into the machine which should be about 5-6 inches wide. Get rolling! The more you use this machine the better you will get at making pasta. Like everything in life - practice makes perfect.

sturdy pasta machine
Very sturdy pasta maker, great for the price. A couple of small points: firstly the dial that adjusts pasta thickness can be a bit fiddly when trying to change the setting fast as it's spring operated and needs to slot into a groove, which it doesn't always do straightaway. This can get annoying when feeding pasta dough quickly through different settings. Secondly, the tagliatelle setting is incredibly squeaky and also sometime requires a bit of separating pasta by hand. All in all, great for the price, very reliable and I will be using it for a long time but it's probably not as good as pasta attachments for KitchenAid, but those are around 200 pounds.

Great
Excellent product but typically terrible delivery by Evri, I'm disabled in a 1st floor flat & they just left it on the bottom stair & left A great heavyweight pasta machine, solid & sturdy, so easy to use & make homemade quality pasta

Great for pasta, gyoza, and much more
I really like this kit, it is so easy to use even for a beginner. It was fiddly to put together at first, and the handle simply places in so it does drop off sometimes. I at first though it would be nice to have a way to 'clip' it in, but it's handy for switching between flat and cut pasta. Given this, I think the handle coming off easily might be better than one hard to get off, when your hands are full of flour, damp pastry and trying to switch at that point, you need easy release. It's not wobbly loose. Using the machine - I'd never tried before, though I've made pastry. Learning how to make the pasta dough was super easy watching a video, and I would say using this was the easiest part of all. It is adjustable, and can roll really thick to thin layers. After finding it so easy to do pasta, I decided to try gyoza wrappers! Easy again! My family loved them, and they were so easy to get to the required thinness for tasty dumplings. These I then steamed and presto, saving a fortune. I've made fresh pasta, cookies, gyoza, lasagne sheets, pie tops, and pastry cases. It's awesome, I'm going to get one for my daughter. * tips * wipe it clean straight after use which makes it easier - flour etc can become stubborn * it's easy to take apart for ease of cleaning * watch videos on how to use, and it's so simple

Disappointing quality
Unfortunately the handle keeps breaking during normal use, which makes the pasta machine very frustrating to use. When it works it does the job, but the handle doesn’t feel durable enough.

Good quality but needs suction cups
It’s great quality and works well, however it doesn’t stick to the surface it’s on so when your spinning the handle the machine lifts off the surface it’s really annoying
