What is the size of the 13 litre basket?

My most accurate description could be: about and inch or 2 larger than a piece of A4 paper width and length and about 13cm high. Hope this helps!!

How many basket in a pack? From the photo, it has 6, totally for 9.9pounds?

I ordered only 1 basket but there are other options there that you can choose from including some baskets that do come as a set at different prices. The photo is possibly an example of how you can stack them on top of each other.

If these were used for A4 books, would they have to be stored on their side or upright?

They will have to be stored upright.
