Yes, but not too heavy items. The inside is not lined.

Can these suitcases be used for air travel

Hmm good question. I believe they are not sturdy enough. They lock up well enough, but the sides could break on impact of tossed. May not on s plane but where you are handling your own luggage it may be ok. I use them to store items in my sitting room. And everyone comments on how good they are.

They are not large. I bought them for my son who wanted under the bed storage. They fit side by side under the bed. The largest fits jumpers in but wouldn't fit anything larger. They are quite impressive though! My son is very pleased with them.

Great decorative item which is also functional

Great decorative item which is also functional. I hesitated because of the price, thinking they were a bit high. Even though they could be less costly, now that I have them I like the feel and image of them. Great addition to sitting room and they help declutter as well! They are good quality and well made for light weight use in the home. Could not travel with them. Not as large as they look in the photo, but in my case they are perfect size!

Overpriced but lovely

I dithered for ages over buying these cases due to the price but I am so glad I finally caved in and got them. I wanted them for displaying handmade jewellery and gifts at craft fairs and for home décor when not in use. A previous post noted they would need to be weighted to stand open and this is true nor would they withstand anything too heavy. They arrived quickly with Prime delivery and wrapped well. I am deducting one star as the smallest case is not black as shown in the picture but the same brown as the largest case, which I was quite disappointed with. Overall very happy with purchase.

Looks great but not worth price $$

These are are aesthetically great but material wise they are made from low quality wood, which will break if you put anything heavy inside (like books). They are definitely not worth the price but I guess surprises come with online shopping...

Il set comprende 3 valige in legno, sono molto decicate, leggere, per cui all'interno non si possono mettere oggetti troppo pesanti, ma vanno comunque bene per conservare ricordi, sono perfette come complemento d'arredo o per allestire. Io le userò per entrambe le cose, e per un matrimonio a tema viaggio fanno la loro figura. Le ho ricevute con un giorno di anticipo, a me non presentano graffi, fortunatamente sono arrivate tutte integre, per cui, mi ritengo davvero molto soddisfatta
