Does the scapula move when you move the humerus? Or is it attached to the chest wall> Thanks

No,scapula doesn't move. Humerus is attached by loose screw system and causes no reaction when moved.

Yes, no problem at all. I have it sitting in an armchair in my "den" at this moment. Alternatively it will stand supported by a strong back pole.I don't understand the other reply. Mine sits down quite unsupported.

Do the arms and legs rotate in their sockets?

Unfortunately not, but they do move, they are attached by a screw & a bracket

To what extent do the femoral and humeral heads rotate within the sockets?

I would say 360 degrees. I has a gimbal style mount which allows rotation in any direction.
