HA Hypoallergenic Dry Cat Food 1.3kg

I was recommended to try this food by my vet for one of my indoor cats who has been diagnosed with IBD. Since it’s impossible to separate my cats when feeding I just changed the food for both cats (one who has no stomach issues whatsoever). Within a couple of days of being fully on this food both cats developed diarrhoea. I persevered thinking I had maybe changed them over too quickly but the diarrhoea has just got worse. After two weeks I have had to give up. Cats love the food though so I guess if a cat can tolerate it then it would be a good food?

I've taken in 2 foster kittens who are 4 months old, they arrived with an upset tum so I popped them onto this cat food in the hope we could settle them. I suspected worms so I also treated for those, and was quietly confident that we'd solved the problem. Somehow, the situation got worse! Piles of sick everywhere in various textures (food, liquid, bile) they were running to the litter tray every 10 minutes and producing piles of runny liquid in various shades of brown, yellow and even dark green! One night, I forgot to refill their dry food bowl and came down to beautiful little logs in the tray. Pleasantly surprised, and still unaware, I topped up the dry, fed them some meat, and they rapidly went backwards again. I thought I'd check out the lowest scoring reviews, and what do you know? Sickness and diarrhea seem to be common. We're now 24 hours clear of this food, and both boys have happy little tums.

My vet advised me to transition my two Bengals onto this. They are both elderly, one has IBD,currently successfully controlled by prednisone and one has diabetes and is prone to pancreatitis. I introduced the food gradually and both cats liked it, but I found that it gave them both very loose stools several times per day. I persevered in case they just need to get used to it but it did not improve. I know this food works very well for many cats, but not for my two. They are now back on Royal Canin Digestive Care which suits them much better.

After reading the reviews I decided to try this for my 9mth bencoon who suffers with loose stools. He's been on royal canin gastrointestinal as recommended by my vet (he's a happy healthy cat but just has a jelly belly) but don't want to keep him on it forever. He loves his food but was hesitant to try this, it did have a strange smell and not the usual one I associate with cat food. I gave him a small amount to transition onto but bloody hell! I woke this morning to find the litter tray completely covered with what I can only describe as projectile, watery poo, it was even up the wall 😭 and the worst it's ever been. I thought it would be good for my elderly cat but noooo, she vomited everywhere, even tho I only gave them both a small amount mixed with the current royal canin. I've spent a small fortune on different food to try to find something he can tolerate but looks like it's back to the gastrointestinal stuff for my boy. May work for others but not for us unfortunately 🙁

Quality very poor, cat not keen to eat from opening bag, within a minute of eating my cat brought it back up. Tried numerous times in case one off fur ball etc but cat could not keep it down. Noticed the product was crumbly and broken into small pieces. Decided to try another wet food product and cat is fine with no vomiting. Will not be buying this product again heard some upsetting reviews about dry cat food!

Although the food smell was terrible, my cat appeared to be enjoying it, having eaten it for less than 3 weeks. Last week she started with diarrhoea, then in the last few days I noticed blood. I was about to take her to the vets when I saw all the reviews where this had happened to cats. On visiting my local pet shop to buy her previous food, I was then made aware of the huge group on facebook, all having the same problems. Certainly a food to avoid.

I bought this product as my cats vet recommended we switch her to hypoallergenic food moving forward after a few days on/off in the animal hospital. This made my cat is poorly, every time she would eat this she would have explosive diarrhoea and vomiting. I don’t recommend and people should avoid if your cat has a problem with her stomach

I received this item and it there was a small rip at the top of the bag. I tried to start a return online but it said it was not eligible for return. So I tried with with my cat anyway. The food is softer than it should and my cat vomited when she ate it. I'm surprised there's no way to return a defective item.

Producto excelente para gatos con digestión sensible. Adoran la textura y el sabor.

Ottimo prodotto si vede la differenza anche nella luminosità del pelo del mio gatto, le ama e l'odore che di solito degli altri croccantini sono fastidiosi lo trovo molto buono.Non è sicuramente un prodotto economico ma ne vale la pena se li mangia volentieri e in più è in salute, meglio spendere di più sul cibo che dopo sulle cure.
