Original Shoe Deodorisers, Banana-Shaped Fresheners - Reusable

These are definitely in the top 3 best things I've bought in recent years . I have lots of pairs of trainers (23 pairs in fact) to ensure I never wear the same pair two days running and to make sure they are completely dry before wearing them again. I put these in the pair that I've just worn and not only do they help with the drying, they make them smell brand new again. I was skeptical at first because I absolutely detest the taste and smell of banana milkshake, but thankfully they smell nothing like that . 😄

​I have a friend who uses these for her climbing shoes, and after seeing how well they worked for her, I just had to get some. Straight out of the pack, they smell amazing - a really fresh, natural scent that is a huge relief for my sensory sensitivities. I put them into my La Sportiva Tarantula boulder climbing shoes immediately, they freshened them up perfectly with their natural ingredients and fit really snug inside. I actually used the carabiner provided to clip through the loops of my shoes too to keep them all together! Which is a really cool trick i discovered and is defo worth doing so they dont slip out - its probably what its for but i feel very smart for finding it out on my own! Lol! ​The texture is worth mentioning too. They have a bead-like material inside that feels really cool and satisfying to touch, and the outside cotton skin is surprisingly soft. As someone who is neurodivergent and deals with high anxiety, these small tactile details make the product feel like more than just a deodoriser; it’s actually quite calming to handle while I'm prepping my gear. ​My friend has had this exact brand for four months, and even with us climbing 3 times a week for 2-3 hours a session, her shoes still smell fresh so i know just how durable and effective they are. For just under £15, knowing they will last that long makes them amazing value for money. If you're a frequent climber who cares about sensory details and keeping gear fresh, these are a must-have.

Works really well at deodorising my climbing shoes and fits inside the shoe well. Always gets a chuckle when pulling bananas out my shoes. It’s lasted ages too!

Effectively work but no use when left outside

Fantastic purchase. I've tried everything to get rid of old boot smell . These did the trick. My son is so pleased even he remembers to put them in. They are neat and easy to use. They fit right in his football boots.

I use these for my climbing shoes. They've helped them stay clean and fresh so I have to clean them less often. They are a must have for any sport where specific shoes are used, or if you have big heavy shoes that don't breathe well, like boots. Just place them on the radiator every so often to refresh them.

Makes my stinky climbing shoes smell less gross

Not as good as I thought. It smells pretty weird and it tends to get the bad smell of the shoes and hold it as well, creating a nasty overall smell. It didn’t do much for my shoes…
