Best shake powder (pretty sure ive tried them all at this point!) I use it every day as a breakfast after AM run. I pre mix before my run with 100ml milk then top off with water. It tastes great and mixes well.

Staple excellence

Good price, it’s the best tasting protein you can get in my opinion but I’ve had to go to a vegan alternative as I get bad skin from the whey.

I started taking protein supplements a year ago alongside a simple strength and cardio fitness program I was following to lose weight. During that time I think I've gone through about 3-4 different brands of protein powder of varying flavours and quantities. First of all while I mostly agree with the sentiment that this is a supplement as opposed to a bowl of Nesquik or a chocolate bar and so taste shouldn't be as much of a concern, if you're going to be consuming the product on a daily basis it might as well be tasty, and this brand 100% ticks that box. My one minor complaint with it it that it doesn't taste like any kind of peanut butter I've ever had - it's more of a candied chocolate flavour, comparable to a Mini-Egg or a smartie or something. I use whey powder to bulk out my morning oats and some powders don't mix well, but this seems to do just as well warm as it does cold. It is a fair bit sweeter than expected but nothing unpleasant. If you're desperate for some peanut butter protein powder like I was, this isn't necessarily going to sate that unholy need. Being fairly new to the world of supplements but extremely well-versed in the stomach punishing risks you take buying cheaper makes, I am thoroughly impressed with the complete set of proteins and BCAAs a serving of Gold Standard contains. It blends effortlessly too, mixing completely into water in a few firm shakes. As mentioned before it's a great addition to other foods or smoothies, great way to hit your surplus by mixing with porridge oats. It's easy on the stomach too, without any of the bloating or heavy feeling whey protein can sometimes leave you with. I will definitely be sticking with Optimum Nutrition from this point onwards. Does everything it needs to, decent price point, true quality.

This stuff was so tasty. Made me feel full in the mornings and lunch time. Be careful though, I thought I never got a scoop with it but you do, its just planted at the bottom and I didn't know till half way down with a soup spoon lol. Honestly though people, its popular for a reason, this flavour was ok but didn't taste exactly like it says but it wasn't a bad taste so still happy. Mixes well too in water or milk. The durability of the case is premium too, nice and study, there was no leaks or damage. It was very smooth both mixing and swallowing.

Voy a ser muy honesto, siempre he mirado los botes de proteína en el gimnasio con cierto escepticismo. Esos tíos enormes que se toman el batido después de entrenar mientras miran sus bíceps en el espejo... yo no me sentía identificado. Pero después de unos meses entrenando fuerza, mi nutricionista me recomendó incorporar proteína whey porque no llegaba a cubrir mis necesidades solo con la comida. Así que fui a lo seguro: compré el de toda la vida, el de la marca que todo el mundo conoce. Y ahora entiendo por qué lo toman todos. Lo primero que noté fue el sabor. Me compré el de Double Rich Chocolate y, madre mía, sabe a leche con chocolate de verdad. No tiene ese regustillo raro a edulcorante que tienen otras proteínas que había probado antes (de prestadas). Mezcla una cucharada con agua fría o con leche, y no quedan grumos. Con leche está más rica, pero con agua se deja tomar perfectamente. La textura es ligera. No es espesa ni empalagosa. Se disuelve muy bien si usas una coctelera o una batidora de mano. Con una cuchara cuesta un poco más, pero con dos minutos de agitación queda fina. Lo he probado en frío y a temperatura ambiente, y siempre bien. En cuanto a resultados, no esperes un cambio de la noche a la mañana. La proteína no es magia. Pero después de un entrenamiento, tomarla en los 30 minutos posteriores me ha ayudado a recuperarme mejor. Antes acababa el entreno y al día siguiente estaba hecho polvo, con unas agujetas que no podía ni bajar las escaleras. Ahora la recuperación es más rápida, y puedo entrenar al día siguiente sin sufrir tanto. También he notado que ganar músculo es más efectivo si acompañas la proteína con un buen entrenamiento de fuerza. No te vas a poner como un culturista de la noche a la mañana, pero la masa muscular se nota más definida.

Ich habe schon viele verschiedene Whey Proteine getestet, aber dieses überzeugt mich komplett. Das Whey Gold Standard von Optimum Nutrition löst sich perfekt auf (keine Klumpen), ob in Wasser, Milch oder so wie ich mit Mandeldrink. Es hat eine super cremige Konsistenz, der Geschmack ist einmalig und wird auch auf Dauer nicht eintönig. Meine Lieblingssorte ist Chocolate Peanut Butter. Das Protein ist aber noch in vielen weiteren leckeren Geschmackssorten erhältlich. Somit ist für jeden das passende dabei. Besonderes gut gefällt mir neben dem hohen Eiweißgehalt (pro Portion 24g), dass es nur wenig Fett und Kohlenhydrate enthält und es zudem mit natürlich vorkommenden BCAAs und Glutamin angereichert ist. Es gehört deshalb, genau wie mein Training, zu meiner täglichen Routine mit dazu. Für mich ist es ein Top Produkt und das Preis Leistung Verhältnis stimmt für mich auf alle Fälle. Wenn man Glück hat kann man es sich zu Angebotszeiten auch etwas günstiger ergattern. Ich nutze dieses Produkt schon sehr lange und kann es nur jedem weiterempfehlen!

Je suis bluffée par la qualité et le goût. Enfin une whey par trop sucrée et sans ce goût écœurant d'aspartame qui donne la g*rbe. Je la prépare dans une tasse en ajoutant l'eau au fur et à mesure que je remue pour faire comme une texture de pâte à crêpe et ensuite je savoure ça comme un dessert je me régale.

Uso le Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey da diverso tempo e continuo a considerarle tra le migliori proteine che abbia provato. Il gusto Cioccolato e Burro d’Arachidi è davvero ottimo: cremoso, intenso al punto giusto e molto piacevole sia con acqua che con latte. La polvere si scioglie facilmente senza creare grumi e la consistenza finale è sempre liscia e bevibile. Le utilizzo soprattutto dopo l’allenamento oppure come spuntino proteico durante la giornata e risultano leggere da digerire. Apprezzo molto anche la qualità del prodotto: ogni porzione apporta un ottimo quantitativo di proteine senza risultare troppo pesante o eccessivamente dolce come capita con altre marche. Inoltre il formato da 28 porzioni è pratico e dura abbastanza. Nel complesso un prodotto affidabile, gustoso e perfetto per chi cerca proteine di qualità con un sapore davvero ben riuscito. Sicuramente le ricomprerò.
