Solid, great finish, perfect child's bed, great price. Putting it together is simple if there are 2 of you as you have to make everything. I would buy again.

This bed is not fit for purpose. The right-angled side pieces which support the slats are just held in with staples pins. The bed collapsed and wood split once the bed was assembled and sat on. It's lucky no-one was injured. After struggling to obtain a contact number for the seller through Amazon, my query was handled swiftly following submission of photographs and assembly invoice. I was refunded the cost of the bed and assembly costs. However, this bed is still on sale following assurances from the retailer that it would be withdrawn and they would be raising the issue with their supplier!! My advice is to spend twice as much for a quality pine bed.

Bed is sturdy enough but the slats ate not usable. 4of them were rotten and the others are so awful and cheap they're really bad quality. I've had to order separate slats. That being said. The rest of it is fine. You get what you pay for.

Good value but instructions could be better, I think I made this about 3 times before I got it right.

Great for the price. Looks lovely. Not hard to put together. The lattes are a little flimsy but you could strengthen them with more wood if need be. Fine for child or slim adult. Stickers on pieces are annoying to get off but do help in following instructions so a necessary evil. Like this a lot.

I'd read some bad reviews and for the price I wasn't overly concerned if the item didn't meet my expectations - my son just needed his first big boy bed and I didn't want to spend an awful lot. The item has far surpassed my expectations. It's a solid bed, no scuffs or scratches. It arrived in perfect condition and was very easy for my partner to put together. The slats of the base are very solid as well - usually with a cheaper bed they are quite thin and flimsy. I am very impressed and my son loves the bed - I'd even feel comfortable with him bouncing on it! I think this bed will last a long time. 2 thumbs up!
