Lovely little set grandkids love it

Solidly built. Wooden pieces. Bright, clear and big board. Not the cheapest, but worth the extra because of its durability. Our grandson plays with it regularly with us and I think if we had bought a cheaper and flimsier one we would have been looking for a replacement by now. A bonus is that our four year old grandson is doing remarkably well with basic maths and we attribute some of his progress to this Snakes and Ladders Game. Initially, it improved his counting as he moved the dice along, but now he instantly does the additions in his head when using the two dice. We can even use the game as a basis for conversations about simple subtractions and even multiplications ("You threw two fours; that's 4 plus 4, or 2 times 4"). Massively recommend!

Bought for our 4yr old son, we had heard good things about Bigjigs toys and thought we would try for ourselves and I have to say... We are not disappointed!!The board is of quality material that provides a sturdy base for the game itself. It's already been pounded by counters and we're confident it will stand the trials of our children! (4 & 12).The bold numbers and sizeable dice make for a great combination for the boy wonder to practice his counting, addition and subtraction! (Never looked at it that way until becoming a parent!).The pouch for the counters is very handy for keeping everything together (or at least it would be if we hadn't already lost the green counter 🤣).We do use the lid for rolling the dice in to, to avoid rolling on the floor etc. as you may expect with a loud, lairy and disruptive player (that's just me!).Game time can range from 1 minute (6 moves I made it in), to over 15 minutes and it's also great to identify certain numbers and relate to real life (80 is Nana's Age, 39 Bus etc.).Great interaction for all ages! Thank you

Product was okay. Fun game as always. Markings cues to indicate both the start and end would come in handy especially for younger players.
