Does it work with the fully specked 5k iMac from late 2014

I have had no issues with my iMac after installing the two 4g memory boards giving a total memory of 16gb which has improved the performance. I hope this helps

is it compatible with macbook pro late 2011?

There were macbooks late 2011/early 2012 that used DDR3 12800 ram like this but there are others that use DDR3 10600. Your best bet is to download a memory test program from one of the memory suppliers, Crucial and Dr Memory come immediately to mind, and check. There is no point in spending more money on something that will give you no benefit. Having said that, you can use 12800 ram in 10600 slots as long as you don't mix types, the speed will not exceed the 10600 ram.

Perfect

This product has really improved the speed and reaction of my mid-2012 macbook pro. I kept the original 2GB stick and replaced the other 2GB stick with this Timetec 8GB stick, meaning I now have a full 10GB of memory. I got to say, you really do not need anymore than 10 if you are using your macbook for writing essays, doing presentations, watching movies or youtube videos or just generally browsing the internet. I have not tried gaming on it and won't, since I have another PC for that. Thanks!
