What a beautiful piece of kitchen hardware!!!! It's well made and heavy. I would make one modification and add a screw/finial to the crank shaft. It secures well to the counter and grinds better than an electric .... probably because I also chop wood, and have good biceps and forearms. I don't have to worry about getting my fingers stuck EVER because its not motorized.
