It works, but it's no Apple standard
A lack of a decent official Apple made armband pushed me into buying this armband for gym use.It holds the new Nano nicely. It lets you operate the new Nano easily too. It even smells new, which is kind of nice.So if it does what it would say on the tin, if it came packaged in one (it didn't, came in a plain envelope), then why am i still looking for a decent armband? I guess it just feels cheap and a little nasty, when the new Nano deserves a little better perhaps?Plus it sure heats up and gets horribly sweaty. I know they all do to a degree, but this is cheap, smelling of cheap plastic sweaty and on your arm that's difficult to get away from.Maybe I'm becoming a snob, maybe i just want something better made, or maybe I'm just disappointed that Apple were so slow to come out with an official armband (are they really not supporting the new Nano enough to provide an armband!?!).Whatever it is this works for now, doesn't feel like a quality product, (though to be fair doesn't command a price expected of a quality product) but will likely get replaced when something 'official' or just plain better comes out.

Bought for cycling
I bought a cheap plastic holder for my new IPOD Nano, a wrist strap version for use whilst cycling, to be fair it was only a couple of quid, but a waste of money in my opinion. So I bought this instead......much better, the IPOD is never in danger of falling out, access to change the music over is fine through the plastic protective screen (when stationery), and the case in general is robust. I read some reviews that if you have large arms this may be a problem, for me personally I wear this over a micro-fleece under my cycling jacket and I think it is fine, of course depends on how fit you are in terms of bicep size (me not so much!) The only reason I have downgraded the product by one star is that I find when cycling I tend to wear it upside down so that the earphones have less distance to stretch up, to be honest not a major issue as you cannot change the tunes when cycling anyway, so no biggie.

Can't fault it!
This is an excellent armband, especially for the price. The iPod fits snugly in the pocket with the flap at the back down to hold it in with no movement, I find the screen easy to use through the plastic too without the need to press any harder than normal, and the headphone opening lines up perfectly. It has dots on the back of the armband so to clings to the skin and doesn't move when in use.I was concerned about whether the key holder would be big enough due to the image provided by the seller, however I find that if the key is placed upside down (the round bit at the bottom, key facing up as pictured) then it fits snugly and is secure.Overall, this does the job perfectly and I can't fault it.

I like this product, but it could have been better.
HI,I bought this for my new ipod nano and this is the first time I have used this type of product.Pros: Light, comfortable, nice colour, can use the touch screen whilst inside the case, fits around my bingo wings, ipod feels secure.Cons: I like to keep the opening where the ipod slots in, at the top of my arm. However, because the hole for the headphones is at the other side it means that the ipod has to face upwards, which makes it more difficult to see the controls when you have it on your arm, and it means the wire from the headphones is at the bottom and has to come back around the ipod and up your arm. You could probably put this the other way around, but I am a little wary, in case the ipod comes out when running (However, I have only tried using the armband once, and the ipod does not move or slide out).

Works well with Nano, but restrictive on the arm.
Purchased to replace aged incase armband made of neoprene. I was used to having a snug fit on my arm during workouts with a material that gave way to swelling biceps. This armband does not give. While it works well with the Nano device and headphones, it is more rigid and restrictive and becomes too snug during workouts (free weights). It may work well if you only use a treadmill or stationary bike. Okay product, but think I will make the move to bluetooth and free up my arm.

Does The Job At Good Value
The film on the screen area seems quite thin, but the armband is comfy, although it could be too short if you had fat upper arms or bulging biceps! More than happy with it for the price.

Best arm band ever
I've had many arm bands and this is denitely the best; very comfortable to wear and completely waterproof. The band is made of an unusual material with little bobbles on it - these mould to your arm and increase the comfort. There are 2 possible slots for folding the band back on itself so allowing for different arm sizes. I have a medium sized upper arm and there is plenty of room - the reviewers who found the band too small to fit must have massive upper arms. The velcro looks like it wont hold for long but it seems to stick perfectly well - no need to reapply even on a 20 mile run.
