**Q: Could this be used for an external gate?**
A: I've had mine on an external door/gate for 5 years and still looking good and working well so yes, no problems

**Q: Why is the handle so small? Is it difficult to turn and open the door?**
A: No, it's really simple and very good quality. The handle appear small but it's good size. Perfect size.

**Q: Does a self closing fire door mechanism have the power to over come this lock - aka close it?**
A: I would hesitate to answer that but I would beware of purchase. The lock has a shiny finish but the internals are cheap and nasty. Mine refused to close I reset a very cheap looking spring system it worked a few times only. Thrown out!

**Q: Hi, i have fitted many yale locks in my time, but on the Cylinder their are no treads to connect the 2 screws? Do i return the whole packeraging ?**
