Yes it's a 50/ 50 mix and main use in uk is for top ups...Use it on my own car no problems..... Hope this helps

According to the bottle, yes. It states that you can mix it with any other coolant, which makes it a good choice. I mix it in my Touran and all good. It is for all petrol and diesel cars.

Can this be used on an astra and a bmw 1 series (both 12 plate) and do i have to dilute this?

It clearly states on the back of the bottle that you should dilute it with de-ionised water. There's a table giving you the freeze point you want protection for, and the correct dilution level to achieve it. e.g. for up to -18C it's a 1:2 dilution (1 part prestone to 2 parts water); for -27C it's 1:1.5 (1 part prestone to 1.5 parts water), and so on. Two parts prestone to 1 part water will give you protection up to -64C. But don't take my word for it - check the images of the back of the bottle in the listing - it's written there.

Awful lid

Most of it leaked out while been delivered. Just a big mess.

Unable to open

Absolute waste of money, I mean I assume the actual coolant does as it says, thats if you can get into it! I bought 2 bottles, both of them the lid wouldn't catch once pressed down so neither me or 2 grown men could get into them! We ended up having to break the cap off to actually get into it! Really not happy ill drive to a garage next time rather than get it off here

Motorcycle heats up quicker and runs hotter.

Ok for motorcycles. But my Motorcycle heats up quicker and runs hotter with this than my older coolent. Before the weather heats up I am going to change it for a better coolent. Just for my piece of mind.£3 per liter. Buy cheap buy twice, I'm going to buy twice. Live and learn.(just my brief experience)

Unuseable

Cheap anti-child lock screw cap made product completely unuseable. Ended up having to cut the top off the bottle with a knife turning a 30 second job into a 10 minute waste of time.

LOOSE CAP !! . Due to a Loose cap on the plastic Bottle , almost all the car radiator coolant had leaked !! . Get your act together .
