Review: Neat and effective - The thermostat function, discreet, easy on the eyes design, economy of running and other peoples positive reviews prompted me to buy this product. Am glad I did. Have used it in a small conservatory, permanently now for a few months, on a very low thermostat setting. The chill of the room has gone and all window condensation disappeared. So the conservatory is now being constantly and subtly aired with a tiny amount of warmth. So much better for it - no signs of mould etc now and always smells aired. Yes other types are cheaper, but I'd say it's not worth considering one without a thermostat, so worth paying extra for that feature alone. And it looks so much nicer than some of those other chunkier fatter designs! The thermostat function also means that you can just forget about it, knowing that as soon as the sun hits the conservatory it will switch off, without you having to constantly try to remember and be in and out of there trying to control it manually. So it's an economical and no hassle option! Obviously, if you want to sit out in a conservatory in the winter that has no other heating, this background low level heating will not be sufficient in itself to make you feel warm... but then it's not meant to be! But it takes the chill off the room and as background protective heat and an aid to good air circulation, it's pefect. Very pleased.

**Q: Is that right it's only 120watts**
A: Yes. The lower you have the thermostat the less electric it will use  too. But it's not far off rthe heat you'd get off a large halogen floodlight.  Power wise think of two 60 watt bulbs being on.

**Q: Can I use this heater in a greenhouse safely**
A: Hi David, a lot will probably depend on your power supply socket, and if there is the likelihood of water/splashes near it.   I have a weatherproof power socket within my greenhouse, which can be sealed after appliances are plugged in, preventing any water/humidity ingress.   The appliance keeps the chill off the greenhouse on frosty evenings/nights, and albeit it has a thermostatic cut out, I do not leave it connected for lengthy periods.  Bottom line? - provided you abide with normal everyday electrical safety precautions, the appliance itself is safe.  I have used this appliance on a regular basis, it is a good product, has a sealed cable/plug, and is fine.  Regards, P.

**Q: Did anyone receive this heater with a component rattling around inside? I am returning mine and wish to order another, hoping its not a common issue**
A: Nothing was loose or rattling in mine but it the temperature was all over the place. Came on at 10c  sometimes at 2c. returned for refund.

**Q: I have a small shed office. It's 1.5x2m. Would this be sufficient to raise the temperature to a comfortable level?**
A: Presuming your shed was fairly draught proof, it would probably keep frost at bay, assuming you would leave it on for some time. It is only equivalent to two 60w light bulbs but as continuous background heat, it would be like having underfloor heating. Not sure it would be comfortable to spend much time there on a realy cold day though. Your shed is the same size as my acrylic greenhouse and I expect that to be a lot warmer than without the heater.

I have a condensation issue in our house and despite painting the wall with a special paint, the problem came back. I brought this product to help keep a small amount of warmth in the room without the need to keep the central heating on. So far, it is slowly helping to reduce the amount of moisture in the air. No more black spots are growing, so far so good. Its a good source of light warmth, and hope it won't use much electric consumption.
