Can you use the eyeshadow wet

Yes, in fact I prefer using them that way. Plus, if you use a wet brush, you can combine colors to create custom shades and use as eyeliner. I find works best when you use an eye primer.

Does this contain talc powder??

Yes. Most Laura Geller products contain talc.

I purchased the earthy essentials but it seems like my regular eyeshadow brushes are too soft. What brush would you recommend?

I use a medium firmness brush for most Laura Geller eye shadow. I own a lot of her products and found that too stiff in the brush makes the shadow darker and not firm enough calls for more applications.

Nice color pallette but takes a lot of product to get the right look. Not a good pigment better for a younger person so not to get the caked look.Doesn't have any strong smell and glides easily although.

Plus and minuses

The colors are nice but do not go on with the same intensity. They are pretty, but the case is thinner than cardboard. For $30 i thought the case would be at least plastic or maybe even metal.

Lovely Long Lasting Color

I really like Laura Geller cosmetics. She really excels in colors. I bought this palette for my blue-green, soon to be 64 year old eyes.I have oily eyelids (and face), so keeping any makeup from melting away is a challenge. It's doubly so for my eyelids. I use Thank Me Later primer for my face as well as their eyelid primer.The colors are absolutely beautiful. The "shimmer" isn't overdone. Usually I try to stick with matte finish everything, but I don't hesitate to wear this eyeshadow. It's not too shiney. It goes on silky, is easy to blend, and wears at least 24 hours (I forgot to remove it one night).It doesn't settle into creases. Sorry for the poor lighting in the photo. I'll retake a photo in natural light.

Worth the extra $$

Beautiful colors. One of my favorite eye shadow pallettes that I have purchased. I usually do not spend more than 20.00 on eyeshadow, but these were worth it. Applying it is smooth and the powders are creamy and go on with ease. The colors are small so I am not sure how long it will las, but that's ok.
