Rosin Bag

I would not consider my self an athlete by any means (although I do go to the gym regularly) and I never had to use such product before so up to a few days ago I did not even know this product existed (in this form) and now that I "discovered" it, I made sure that I have it near by in case I need it. Here is my experience. A week ago I was at a steel shooting competition and it was a day long event on a hot and humid day. Towards the end of the day, my hands felt sticky from the humidity and too slippery to grip the pistol so almost after every shot I had to re-grip the pistol because the recoil would move it in my palms. These competitions are usually out in the middle of nowhere and although we have plenty of stuff to drink, there is no water to wash our hands. I tried cleaning them with purell but that did not do much about my problem. Then I complaint about it to what appears to be the right person who pulled out this rosin bag from his pocket and said to just "slap this in your palms a couple of times". What an immediate effect!!! The powder covered my palms just a bit and although I can see some of the dust in my palms, it did not feel like it was too much but when I gave him back the bag and rubbed my palms together, my hands felt totally dry. Perhaps the feeling was amplified by the long humid day but my hands felt like I washed them and dried them. I was able to grip the pistol just fine and recoil did not change my grip. I kept using the bag every time it was my turn to shoot. Needless to say that I ordered a bag and dropped it in my range bag. It is the perfect form of dispenser for my needs. It will not make a mess in my bag and will not make a mess around me when I use it because it dispenses the right amount of rosin. I am not sure it would work to an acceptable degree for athletes but the cost is minimal and it is worth having it around.

I used this to help keep my hands dry during the summer while playing tennis. My hand was getting so sweaty during the hottest months that I had to use this after every point. I tried several different types of grip tape, but this worked best. The bag was not as big as I thought it would be, but the good thing about that is I could leave it in my pocket. The main problem was that it wouldn't keep my hand dry very long. I have an elbow injury that requires me to wear an elbow brace for tennis - the problem was that the brace was causing profuse sweating that would drip down my arms into my hand. The final solution was simply to use wrist bands to prevent the sweat from reaching my hand. I still use the rosin bag occasionally on the hottest days, but if you need this product, then using sweat bands should help as well.

Worked as expected

I have never had a product like this before. When I first started using it the powder would go everywhere every time I took it out of the little zip lock bag. Now that I’ve had it about a month the powder explosions have stopped. It works pretty well for keeping hands dry playing tennis outside in 90-100 degree heat. Have had to reapply but given the heat I can’t really blame the product too much.

great for bowling

This is my favorite rosin bag for sweaty summer tennis! I’m not a fan of any sort of towel, powder, or cream that makes my hand sticky. This helps keep my hands dry during tennis matches in hot, humid weather!

During the summer, my hands sweat a lot specially with high humidity. Applying rosin in my handles keeps my hands dry for about an hour before I had to reapply. It doesn't have a scent. It comes in a plastic bag to keep the rosin bag itself from dusting everything else. Easy to use and store.

Operates as expected

It had been many years since I have used resin to improve the grip on my tennis racquet. I didn't find this product very useful at all. Only tried it twice.

A chalk bag designed to prevent/reduce sweat. It's not designed to improve grip, but will improve grip if your hands get sweaty. Does the job it's designed for.

Bom produto, que cumpre a função, especialmente para mãos pequenas (o que não é meu caso). Realmente diminui a umidade das mãos e aumenta a aderência ao grip.
