Perfect replacement part
Our thermostat broke in our boiler and this came very to replace the old one with. Works perfectly and heats the water better than the old one. Very easy to replace and no need to drain the water from the boiler

Push in replacement โฆ job done.
These are ridiculously easy to install. Remove two wires from the old one and just pull it out. Replace it with a new one and connect the wires! (take a photo and make sure you donโt mix them up. Also, obviously isolate at the consumer unit - and test itโs not live. If any of this doesnโt make sense, you probably shouldnโt be doing it yourself) Something to check - the reason ours was failing was because the original installer hadnโt seated one of the thermostat rear spades correctly into the spade terminal of the heating elemental. The poor contact lead to overheating and tripping out. Take care when you install a new one that you donโt do this.

Great, simple to fit and solved my issue
Thought my element had gone and it was a full plumber job being an unvented cylinder. I didn't realise it was actually just this part which connects between the wiring and the element. Pulls off and easy to test with a meter. Just be careful to get the right rod length.

Fix your immersion
If you use an electric immersion heater for hot water and find it isn't working, it is often the thermostat that is faulty and not the immersion heater element itself. These can go with age, even if you don't really use them. Many of these are standard sizes and the old thermostat can be pulled out of the hot water cylinder and a new one pushed in. Obviously there is electric involved and you must take precautions but for approx ยฃ20 a fairly competent person can undertake this. There's various videos on the web showing how to do this.
