Is this a fleece neck gaiter that can shed fluff and will it irritate the nose?

The fleece neck warmer not easy to fall off, and it's soft, I recommended that you ventilate for a while or clean it before receiving the neck warmer.

How does it feel to wear it when exercising outdoors, is it warm enough?

I wear MSDC neck warmer for outdoor rides and snow trips and it keeps my face and neck very warm.

The description for the msdc winter neck gaiters says it has "adjustable closure". can't see one. is there a way to tighten and loosen it?

There is no adjustable closure. But these are GREAT gaitors. The plush interior is substantial enough to stand up, just as illustrated, so it stays up around your neck. And it easily stretches to slip over your head.

I just received the neck warmer. When I took it out of the packaging bag, there was a little smell, but it was not pungent. I put it outside for a while and the smell disappeared.
