28dB Hearing Protection Ear Plugs, 1 Reusable Pair

Hard to believe the description and dB tables. Actually those are just right. Physically the I needed to get used to the plugs as those are harder from foam ear plugs. However initial impression of hardness quickly went away and those are fine. Those are suitable under the snug fit helmet. When riding motorbike using foam plugs the noise is every time different due to different fit every time. The noise is muffled and sounds strange due to being distortred. I feel strong sound pressure when riding fast on the motorway. It is hard to take the call during riding and next to impossible when riding 60mph or faster. Nothing from above takes place when wearing SoundBarren plugs. Initially I had a feeling the noise cancellation was not that good at all - until I actally started riding. There is NO sound pressure at all. Wind sound is no longer there. I can hear my machine clearly and distinguish motor, suspension and tyres noises. I'm able to have clear and comfy phone communication riding with national speed limits. My hearing remains as fresh after riding as before. That is genuinely amazing. I'd never believe that if I would not experience it myself. The pleasure of motorbike riding is now gerater then ever before and I feel safe from any hearing impact.

Only tried them on but the are light and comfortable in my ears and I found that I don’t k ow I am wearing them. Blocks out all noises except talking which is exactly what they amsaid they’re do. Only not 5 stars as haven’t used them properly yet

Use these for sleeping in but they are not to most comfortable. Currently using with the bundled cord to keep them together as I sleep, but they seem to add a bit of extra length to the smaller pair so the come out of the ear a bit further making it difficult to lie on either side when trying to get to sleep. Otherwise a good set of ear plugs

With the hot and humid weather in full force, I needed a pair of ear plugs to block the noise from the now open window extending onto a congested main road, as well as a fan to keep cooler. Naturally these conditions made a noisy environment to try attempt to slumber in. I've bought a few ear plugs to compare. I purchased the SoundBarren ear plugs, another pair of ear plugs similar to these but larger in circumference and considerably firmer, and then of course I bought the mouldable putty/gel type of ear plugs. After giving each a fair trial for a few nights I found the SoundBarrens to be considerably softer and easier on the ears. They were also far more efficient at blocking out noise, and the smaller sized ear plugs worked brilliantly for side sleeping, which can be an issue with similar style ear plugs. The mouldable putty/gel ear plugs that I also purchased for comparison were somewhat comfortable, but ultimately the putty never seemed to stay in position long enough to block out sound, and therefore had to be consequently re-adjusted again and again. These can be slightly firm at first and might require a couple of nights to adapt, but after this the ear plugs sit very comfortably in the ears and block out sound exceptionally well. As you can probably tell, I recommend this product with confidence to those in need of effective ear plugs.

I used these for rehearsals for about a month - I'd say maybe ten uses in all. Yesterday, the finned silicone part separated from the hard plastic filter and got stuck inside my ear, as quite a few other reviewers have described. I was in rehearsal so the only way I could extract it was to fish around with fingernails until I caught it and could pull it out. My hearing is now impaired as the process pushed all the earwax against my eardrum, which is really unpleasant and will probably last a week before sorting itself out. I tried putting the earplug back together, but it won't hold firmly, so it's now useless. What a waste of £15. It's a pity, because otherwise these are really great earplugs.

They definitely isolate very well, but are too uncomfortable after a while wearing them. Maybe a good choice for musicians, but not good for sleeping.

I ride motorbikes and have tried several types of earplugs. Mostly I have found them to be less than effective. In my trolling of search engine results, disregarding the ones I have found less than effective I came across the Soundbarren 28db ear plugs. In the pack you actually get 2 sets of ear plugs, one set you can use with a joining cord. I joined the shorter stem earplugs with the cord and carefully inserted them in my ears following the advice given in the card that accompanies the ear plugs. The plugs fitted snugly and I could perceive an immediate effect in both ears. Having tried many ear plugs over the years I was amazed, comfortable andequally effective in both ears. I immediately dug out the motorbike and took it for a ride in varying road speeds to see how effective the ear plugs were. Amazing, comfortable and very effective. The connecting cord helps prevent loosing an earplug when you take off your helmet. I would recommend these to fellow motorcyclists 100%. Good price, fantastic earplugs.

I found these earplugs to be very comfortable when sleeping and drowns out most, if not all the background noises that normally keep me awake with being a light sleeper. In the past I have used the sponge type earplugs but found that they needed to be reformed and re positioned after a while when they expanded and fell out but these just pop in and stay there and don't hurt my ears if I lie on them. The good thing about them also is that you can still hear someone talking to you or the alarm in the morning but not sure if they would be ideal for someone snoring next to you as I don't have that problem but you get 2 pairs, so use the other set to stick up their nostrils.
