Easy to apply with a brush, it dries in approximately 3 hours and covers two coats on average-sized soft tops, making it a must-have for maintaining your vehicle’s premium look and weather resistance. ## Description Do not apply in direct sunlight, as this will cause the Ultra Proofer to dry out too quickly and produce an uneven result. 1. Dry brush the soft top to remove any loose dust/dirt. 2. Pour Ultra Proofer into a suitable container/bowl. 3. Stir well before application. 4. Apply Ultra Proofer with a new 5cm/2inch paintbrush ensuring that the fabric is completed wetted out. It is best to commence application in the centre of the soft top and as quickly as possible progress towards each side, the front and the back of the soft top. Wipe excess drips from paintwork, trims and glass with a damp cloth. 5. Depending on the condition of the top a litre of Ultra Proofer is usually sufficient for two coats on an average-size soft top. I use a 3 inch absolutely clean paintbrush and work the proofed well in when there's no rain about. Fantastic afterwards to see how the rain beads on the surface and runs off. A small bottle goes a long way. **Q: Should the renovo ultra proofer smell like rotten eggs ?** A: Mine didn’t doesn’t sound right to smell of rotten eggs (hydrogen sulphide) I wouldn’t go sniffing it any more. The product is almost water like but a thicker consistency and i applied it like i was painting, up and down ,side to side and then up and down again. My car being garaged, i was able to leave it to dry for a fewdays and then gave it a second coat. It totally transformed it , i put two coats on and when it rains now the water just beads up and runs off instead of soaking into the fabric and making it damp inside, the fabric feels more pliable now so ill be buying more and treat the top once a year there was more then enough to do two coats ,i would recommend to have a wet cloth to wipe of any drips from the paint work when applying product . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, not a miracle worker *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 December 2014* I have a 14 year old BMW E46 convertible. I never did anything special to the roof before and it started to look a bit tired and grey. So July 2014 I bought 500ml each of the Cleaner, the black Reviver and this Ultra Proofer. The cleaner certainly took off more dirt than normal cleaning, although having paid a lot for the stuff I was probably trying harder too. The dye made it look very nice and black while the proofer made the canvas repel water like it were metal. The one thing it will not do is completely even out the crease marks and shiny bits where the roof rubs when folded. I am guessing nothing will do that. All in all a good buy.
