Buy this toy! It will be the best thing you do to distract your baby from crying. Every single baby we’ve tested it on immediately stopped crying. Basically flaps its wings but with a really cool noise. My son LOVED it. And all my mum friends bought one. We have another by a different well known brand that isn’t even close to being as amazing as this.

Well, this has got to be the best use of a fiver I've ever spent! As soon as I got it out the box my little girl (who was about 3 months old) stared at it and wanted to grab it! It's her favourite toy at home, had so much abuse from all the pulling, scrunching, chewing, throwing about, etc and it still looks good. She loves the bright colours and the different textures on the toy, very good for her developmental skills. The back of the wings are patterned black and white which she will happily stare at for several minutes. Because it's so brightly coloured it helps her with her hand-eye coordination with grabbing certain parts. A must-have for any baby, both me and my daughter love this toy and so glad I bought it. The best part for me is that this toy can be put in the washing machine - so convenient as it gets so much use it's starting to look a bit iffy but a wash will bring it straight back to life. A month on and she is still as much in love with it as before! Lamaze toys are good for babies as we bought the cone one with a mirror and soft handle on it and she loved that too but this toy gets so much more attention now!

My 3mo has loved Freddie since she got him at 2mo. She loves that he jingles and crinkles and she easily grasps all of the rings and wings in her hands, as well as the dangling teether and little legs. There is so much for her to grab and play with in one toy and the noises are really helpful for her to recognise her motor skills in action. She obviously can’t press the squeaker but she enjoys the noise when we press it. The black and white pattern catches her attention and I love that it has this contrast as well as the bright colours. The different textures are also a nice touch and despite it being large comparable to her (she is a big baby at 6.9kg for 13 weeks), she gets a lot of enjoyment from handling it. Her eyes light up and her mouth opens when Freddie is brought out and she will happily watch him “flying” around and listen to the noises even when not playing with him herself. She absolutely adores this toy and I’m so glad I bought it. There is plenty for her to bite, chew and lick (her current favourite hobby) and I’ve since ordered two more Lamaze toys: Jacques and Captain Calamari. Can’t wait for her to enjoy them! She does have the puppy, which looks simple in comparison, but she loves to handle and lick the fabric, chew on the bone and crinkle and chew its ears. Great toys and very happy with the purchase. If someone I know has a baby, I will be getting them a Freddie the Firefly!

Lovely item from well known company to use as toy or attach to push chair. Lots of shapes and colors to keep baby interested

I will keep it brief: I bought this product due to the good reviews and best seller status it occupied. My 4mth year old is really getting into,mostly putting his mouth on every part and pulling it when its attached to his carry cot. Pros: very well made, great assortment of colours, many different noises, textures and shapes in a relatively small but well thought out package. Cons: the teether type item in the well designed pocket could have been slightly less firm and more inline with the shape of a young baby's mouth and the product could have had an adjustable strap so it could be attached to the baby's wrist of the handle section of a carry cot or above a sleeping cot. Overall: Very well made product that for quality is competitively priced and engaging for a young child, would definitely recommend it.

Lamaze sell great quality baby toys. They're easy to use and connect to the pram, car seat etc. Small enough to pack away in the pram or nappy bag too and my little girl was easily entertained with this at 5 months old on the plane. Worth the money to keep little one occupied. Good functionality and easy to clean in the washer on a cool setting.

Ho molto apprezzato la spedizione veloce e puntuale, l'ottimo imballaggio, i colori e la qualità dei materiali. I got this for my 4 month old who cannot reach very far from her car seat, so this is perfect for her to halfway reach for and grab as she practices extending her arms fully because it is long enough. So many toys I see are too short. It has sooo much great stuff on it! Different textures, sounds, objects they can grab and play with, mirrors, colors, etc. I love it and highly recommend it. It will last her a very long time as it has basically everything she needs as a toy in these next months to come.

My son didn't care for toys much at all when he was a newborn. He didn't like to try to bat at them, he would follow them if you moved them in a line and everything, but he just didn't like toys. He preferred faces. I bought this toy because someone I know has other Lamaze toys, and I am in love with it! It's such a cute, quirky little dragon! My son absolutely loves this toy. The bright colors catch his eyes and after we bought this toy he really started taking an interest in toys and grabbing and playing with them. He loves the tail especially since he's started teething. He is 5 months old now and still loves to cuddle his dragon when he's on a car ride or in the floor. The sound it makes is really attractive for babies, as well. The price is stellar, too, considering your child can adore it for a long time. I will definitely purchase more Lamaze toys!
