This is a great book outlining the uses and implications of Blockchain. However, that's where it ends. Our working society is very much changing and blockchain will not be the sole answer to all our worries! Skills will still need to be proven and used. A good read.

Must read for people interested in the potential of bitcoin and Blockchain. Don and Alex Tapscott are extremely knowledgeable in the subject and great visionaries.

Great book help a lot with Blockchain research for a Masters project

This book serves to introduce the idea of blockchain to the world. Authors cover the philisophy and possible implications well. They understandably have a one sided view of the idea. It is not a bitcoin book, I think some of the lower mark reviews are due to this unmet expectations.

The book is rather like an evening down the pub with fellow technologists. It starts with simple question of what is blockchain. After the second round everyone starts to explore what this technology might mean, as the evening goes on ideas flow fast and thick. All are interesting, some don’t ned blockchain and most have implications far beyond technology – changes in society, governments, finance and other areas that impact us all. As the evening draws to an end someone pipes up with “but have you considered …” and the challenges are explored over a final pint. They are big challenges. Not the focused technology ones that many are already tackling, but ones that involve people and change across the globe. Something to mull over on the walk home. If you are not familiar with blockchain’s potential uses, then this book is a light introduction to the possibilities culminating in a dose of reality at the end. The side effects of the ideas and effort to implement are rarely explored, so you are left with no sense how likely the possibilities are and hence what you might I see in your life time.

it's good to know about this internet 2.0 how it impacts the financial world. very informative book.

I stopped halfway through as I did not want to waste any more time. It's a list generic statements about all the problems in the world (financials, legal, political, etc) and how things will be so much better when we use Blockchain. However, there is little on the how it's going to happen, no real-world use of Blockchain detailed. It's like 300 pages (way too long) high-level executive summary that should have been summarised in 5 pages.

Amazing book! Recomended to all open minded people that like to look at the Big picture and plan things ahead.

Blockchain is the future of technology for so many industries. It will impact every human on Earth. Don does a remarkable job at explaining complicated concepts in an understandable way.

This books starts with explaining its readers why this technology stands out and its potential for future. Further it goes on to do a unbiased SWOT analysis. Enjoyed reading it and will recommend to readers who are interested in blockchain technology.
