It really is long lasting
I have used a variety of nail products in the efforts to grow my nails and I love a dark colour. I applied the base coat a colour and the top coat and my polish is still un chipped one week later. It stays like a professional gel nail polish. Won’t buy any other nail polishes from now on.

Does a lovely job
One of my favourite base coats. It has a funny brush you need to get used to or you can end up using way too much, but it applies lovely, and super easy to do the edge of your nails. Only downside I find with maybelline is the design of the bottle and the brush, it's difficult to use the last of your bottle, only reason why I knocked it down 1 star.

Great base coat
Purchased this after becoming very vexed with gel nails, I can never get a gel manicure to last more than a few days before it chips or a nail pops off. A home gel pedicure is fine and lasts the course but can never get a gel manicure to stand the test. Decided to go back to the traditional method and use this with seche vite. Got 8 days out the manicure lasted a whole holiday of in and out of pool and not taking much care of it. Could not believe it. Two coats of this, two nail polish and then seche vite. Some slight wrinkling issues with the seche so I might try a different top coat but will definitely stick with this base coat. It is almost sticky when it is applied and dried so more like a binder. I have tried orly bonder in the past for five times the price and this is just as good if not better.
