Review: Perfect DAB Radio - Very pleased with this DAB Radio which is a replacement for my kitchen Phillips Transistor Radio that i can no longer use now that long wave transmissions have been switched off
Review: Great Radio - Love this radio. I can programme, for example; Classic FM to come on up to twice a day for up to 2 hours. (Which will be reassuring for my cat while she is sometimes home alone). My husband is happy as he can listen to the live cricket too. I love the fact that it tells you the song and the composer or band currently playing. With the option of batteries it can be taken anywhere. The reception is very very good. The quality of sound is excellent for certain types of music/ speech, as it's clear and crisp and not too tinny. If however you are after a bassier/ fuller range of sound for :) rock or poop then maybe it's not quite for you. I believe there is a 'Dynamic Range Control' (DRC) which I think can compress sound for particular stations to make louder sounds quieter and quieter sounds louder - flattening the sound levels (perhaps handy for talky shows or suppressing loud annoying adverts???) and I think you can expand these ranges too... depending on the audio signal. The manual is really clear and very helpful. I would recommend it. It looks pretty suave too. Delivered quickly also.

**Q: Does this product have a plug?**
A: yes It works from the mains

**Q: Can you plug your ipod into it?**
A: No, you can't connect your ipod to the radio.

**Q: Exactly how many DAB presets are there?**
A: To be honest I can't remember. All I can recall was that it was an atrocious piece of kit that drained the batteries when off within 2 days! I dumped mine because it wouldn't access and store the latest DAB station allocations after the big return some time back. As I said at the time, Avoid this thing; it's awful.

**Q: Does this look tacky and fake? Or nicely retro?**
A: It's nicely retro but the sound quality is terrible. I returned it.

After returning two other radio/cd players because of unsatisfactory frequency and base I gave up with the cd player and opted for just a radio. This little bush is super, the tone is probably not as good as a more expensive model but this is quite easy (for a lady of 80 years) to set up and no heavy background noise. Ideal for the kitchen, just what I was looking for.
