does the top coat apply to any lipstick to make last longer?

No, the lasting power is a combination of the colour coat and the top coat, but it is primarily the colour coat. So I haven't tried it but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on other lipsticks

Has anyone received this without the protective wrapper seal as mine arrived without rather unhygienic I thought or do they come without the sealed

I have bought lots of these on line from various companies and have never had a protective wrapper on any of them. No problems using them. Brilliant staying power ! Not sure if the ones in the shops have protective wrapper - will check next time I am shopping !
