I am a complete amateur but wanted to paint an internal wooden door with a much softer colour (it was an unpainted pine colour). I used the Rustins Undercoat (also available in a really handy small tin) first and then dived in! I was pleased with the result after just one top coat but did a second coat and the finish is just brilliant - so smooth looking and such an even, soft colour - looks quite professional. Thank you Rustins! The smaller tin is so useful when you only have a small job to do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 April 2020* Although a small tin, as other reviews have said a little does go quite a long way. The paint goes on really nicely, I just used a brush, and the finish is really nice - it's very good quality. It was a bit lighter than I was expecting though, it's a couple of shades lighter than the sticker on the tin suggests, and it is expensive for a very small tin.
