Poor quality material. The making is good but material is so poor.

Messes up the tuning of my HE1000SE
Upper frequencies and details of my he1kse was almost totally gone, it added way too much warmth and there is a big subbass bump. Would not recommend unless you want your Hifimans to turn into Sony headphones.

Cost effective choice
While I haven’t spent much listening time with these yet, they seem to be well built and a good replacement — certainly much more cost effective than the OEM replacements at approximately $160/set. The one caution is that these earcups are left-right specific even though they look essentially identical.

Top quality, Top value
Top quality ear pads. Just note, leather pads tame the brightness and extend the lower end but might take away some detail for that slight push to warmth, Either way they feel absolutely incredible on the head, top marks for Voarmaks as usual. Brilliant quality insane value.
