I use these for boiling most pasta and veggies. It works great! Just pour the larger pasta in (some elbows are too small and a few will fall through.), lower it into the pot of boiling water, and give it the occasional stir. When the pasta is done, simply pull the packet out of the pot with a heavy duty tongs, and voilá! I tie a slip knot at the end, so it’s easy to open. I can either rinse and reuse (which I normally do) or just toss the bag. No trying to dump all that boiling water into the colander, when I can just rinse the pasta right in the bag! Best way to boil potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and so much more! I love the quality and reuse abilities of this brand. It’s a winner winner, for my pasta dinner!

They are good useless for boiling crawfish

These are amazing! I randomly came across them on here and decided to give them a try. I used them at my crawfish boil to separate the different veggies. It made it much easier for people to find exactly what they wanted since they were all in separate bags. Couldn’t be happier

Work great for steaming clams veggies . Don’t melt in boiling water.

Cooked food ok what I didn't like was it made water I was cooking in turned reddish
