This chalk powder works really well for grooming. I use it with my dog stripping knife and it makes the whole process much easier, giving a better grip on the coat without pulling. It’s a good size tub, lasts a long time, and doesn’t leave any mess. Great value for money and perfect if you groom your dog at home.

Meant for stripping my border terrier but I couldn’t wait for delivery and used talc instead. It looks very good and will be used in future. Because of the reviews about no sprinkler on the tub I had thoroughly washed and dried an old Saxa pepper-pot ready for using during grooming sessions. Make sure it is extremely clean if you use this idea though, as the pepper will irritate your animals skin. The chalk powder will certainly last my dog’s lifetime and probably many others also, so I can pass it on. It’s good for cats, dogs, horses and rabbits too!

Comme je me faisais mal au doigts à épiler ma border terrier sans accessoires. J'ai regardé une vidéo et ce type de poudre avec des gants pour doigts étaient recommandés. J'ai testé et je recommande l'achat de ce type de produit pour épiler au doigts. Les poils morts glissent davantage et se retirent plus facilement. Sans cette poudre, j'arrachais des poils qui n'étaient pas destinés à l'être ( erreur de débutant). Je suis une particulière et ceci m'évite d'aller chez le toiletteur.
