800w sub 400-500 w in put ideally amp bridged,Depending on car rear parcel shelf or in a bass box

These are good from 45hz to 200hz really. You can use these up to 4khz and down to 35hz in the right set up but you would need EQ to get the mids balanced.

Q: are these ok for a parcel shelf mounting

Yes, these will be fine as they can run IB, although they would sound a lot better in the proper sized enclosure. I bought a couple of these but ended up returning them as I had endless troubles with them. When they worked they had a nice depth and punch to them though.
