Very effective for the price
We fitted this to 3 bathroom windows and got the hang of fitting it by the second. Tricky but not too difficult. Another reviewer gives a useful step by step guide. On the plus side - it blocks out loads of bright sunlight and cuts a lot of the heat. But it does make the room look a bit grey/blue dismal. And you can see your reflection inside when the light is on, against the blackness outside. Somehow we managed to stick the wrong side of the first one to the window. So it peled off in one corner. Sounds stupid (and is) but maybe you'll see how if you buy it. Perhaps the manufacturer could have something printed on the plastic you treat off and throw away. Anyway, we turned it over (quite easy) and now they all adhere perfectly.

Good Opacity, Adhesion, Sizes Available & Reusable (good if you install incorrectly the first time!)
I purchased a roll of the white window film 75cm x 400cm to cover some windows in my conservatory, to provide a) some privacy from neighbours and b) to help reduce glare and UV from the sun.I decided to trial some on the door in the conservatory, as this is a plain glass pane and looks onto my neighbours. I thoroughly cleaned the window with some washing up liquid mixed well with Zoflora and water in a spray bottle and dried the window (not that I needed to of course but wanted to ensure it was completely clean before applying the film). I didn't want the full pane to be covered as we have a dog and I like to see when he's sat at the door so decided to have a gap. I can't cut straight so decided to put a wave in but kept the straight edge at the top. I can vouch for the reapplication being sound because when I applied it the very first time, I didn't put it on straight! So had to take it all off and reapply it.Application: I used clean water from a spray bottle to wet the window and peeled off the clear backing and placed the film onto the window and it clung instantly. I couldn't find the applicator I had previously bought so use an old bank card to smooth out the water and bubbles. it even clung to the PVS window frame. I did notice a few tiny bubbles appearing after application, but quickly realised that these areas needed a bit extra water as they had cleared when water was pushed through the area. These have been up over a week now and as I hadn't cut off the excess and is still covering the rubber seal on the window, I have noticed that it is starting to peel away from them. So will just go back and reapply some water and trim off the excess and see what happens after another week.I have just read that these window films aren't suitable in direct sunlight, yet say that it helps reduce the UV from the sun... I have installed this window film on a window that is in direct sunlight and have no issues with it at the moment (however, I can't see the edges as I have my tumble drier in from of the window, yes glorified utility room is my conservatory, and not from choice!).My small concern at the moment is, how to clean the windows/window film when they get dirty, because the surface not attached to the window is not smooth and will definitely attract dirt (seeing as I have tumble driers in there and it's a very old conservatory!), and previous experience with these types of surfaces have proved a little difficult to get clean.A good thing about these are that they are reusable and have no adhesive stickiness so won't really get stuck to itself should you end up dropping it towards itself.Dog hairs however love this! The static caused when removing the clear cover is amazing what it will suck to it and stick! Water does help remove this but ideally, keep pets away whilst installing!A little downside to these is the amount of water to be used and ends up all over the place when squeezing out, so get some good absorbent items to help mop it up as you squeeze it out. Otherwise, really is quite easy to install. I have used some colourful D-C Fix window film on a different window and even though they are less messy, can cause an issue if they end up getting stuck to itself... and I haven't found any D-C Fix window film that covers an are like this one. My window pane is 72cm high so this covers them perfectly after being trimmed after installation. I did need my husband to help me install this on the bigger windows though , as the window is too wide and high to apply this on my own.Ending note: I need to buy more as the roll just didn't quite fulfil the requirements (2 large windows and a door covered, need to cover another large window and 3 small windows)... so yes, I will be buying this again!

A genuine game changer during the UK heatwave!
★★★★★ A genuine game changer during the UK heatwave!I was really sceptical at first and honestly didn’t expect this film to make much of a difference, but I have to admit I was completely wrong. During the recent UK heatwave, it has reduced the temperature in my house significantly. The film was surprisingly easy to install, and while the silver version does make the rooms a little darker, it’s a small trade-off for the benefits you get. The reduction in heat has been incredible. My bedroom is on the third floor and usually becomes unbearably hot in warm weather. Before installing this, I often struggled to sleep because of how warm the room got. Since putting the film up, the bedroom has been noticeably cooler and far more comfortable, even on the hottest days. It’s made a huge difference to my sleep and overall comfort.I’ve been so impressed with the results that I’ve already ordered more to cover additional windows throughout the house. As you can see from the picture the top windows were done and the bottom ones were pending the light difference isn’t that big, but the temp difference is huge!If you’re looking for a simple and affordable way to reduce heat and keep your home cooler during summer, I would highly recommend giving this a try. It’s been worth every penny. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Does what it says
The frosted film arrived in good time. It was easy to apply, following the instructions. I particularly like the handy sticker on the opening that facilitated easy opening without having to find the peel and it can be used multiple times. I’m really pleased with the privacy it provides.

Think twice if you want to fit this to double glazed windows.
So, this product does what it says. It's relatively easy to install, although quite hard to get bubble free etc, even with a squeegee and damp cloths. So, 3 stars for that - its ok.However, the main issue is that this is basically not suitable for double glazed windows - even if your double glazing is toughened glass. The product blocks a lot of the heat coming in which is what we wanted - but the result is the inside of the double glazed window with the film on gets VERY hot. If you have ordinary, non-toughened double glazing, the heat differential can, apparently, cause the window to crack. Even if your glass is toughened, the heat build up can potentially cause blown seals.I have had a hunt around and couldn't find anything about this on the product page. The only vague thing I could find was:"Wide Application: This privacy film is suitable for any flat, clean, and smooth glass surface, including homes, offices, stores, and classrooms. Note: If your glass is of a special type or is installed in a way that makes it prone to issues, please ensure compatibility before making your selection"Should I have done more homework before purchasing - yes. But I would guess most people getting this product would be intending to use it on double glazing which is certainly not a glass that is a "special type".We have toughened Pilkington K glass I was applying the film too and I removed the film a day after I applied it as its just not worth the risk/cost of potentially having to replace blown double glazing units.

Where’s the transparent adhesive layer?
It’s relatively easy to put up. Looks fine. You do lose a lot of natural but you do get a much cooler room so definitely worth getting.I took a star off because in the instructions it says there’s a transparent layer you remove with the adhesive underneath. There’s included stickers to help do this but i couldn’t find this layer. I spent ages trying to separate it and I wondered if these were generic instructions for all rabbit goo films (I have the frosted film too which did have a removable transparent layer with adhesive underneath). In the end I gave up and stuck it to the glass with water. Hopefully it’ll stay there. Has anyone found a removable layer?

Perfect for my small bathroom window...
It does what it says on the tin. The trimming afterwards on my window was a bit of a problem with using stencil knife. My advice is if you dont have the tools to complete the job...improvise.I used the back of a picture frame as a board to lean on when it came to measuring up and doing the trimming. If you have wrapping paper (xmas, birthday), this is going to be your blueprint measurement of the size of your window. On the back of most wrapping paper is cutting measurement, so to save on wrapping paper, which became a very useful tool. Fit this onto your window and trim as you go along, before actually sticking the PVC frosted transfer on the window or it could end up looking ugly. This way, you can actually have the exact measurements of your window glass. Using the dark side of the wrapping paper with the PVC, I was able to follow the length and width without the aid of a splicer or long ruler. The width of the PVC frosted film was a perfect fit.The only downside was when I added the PVC onto my window, trimming it down a little, once the PVC was on the window was a bit of an ugly mess (as you will have noticed on the bottom of my window). If I have learned anything, then its this...if it fits into the window with a slight overlap...LEAVE IT. Trimming it further, whilst on the window, this could potentially damage the PVC like it did at the bottom of my window.Having said that, it fitted perfectly in my bathroom and now I can shower with peace of mind that no voyeurs can look in from afar and it still lets the natural daylight shine in. 😄Perfect!

It does what I needed, reflects the heat, visibility/privacy not an issue
Rabbitgoo 60 x 200 cm “One Way” window film. It does what I needed. It was OK to put up, if one is careful, otherwise it might be a nightmare. The privacy only works for those inside if the peeper outside has brighter light than in the room and then they only see a reflection, this is usual during the day, but the reverse at night! So draw the blinds at night. It reduces radiant heat input very significantly. This is why I bought it, and it works much better than the so-called e-coating on the glass (I paid for it, but is there any? Is this a common double-glazing con?) However, it is not as good as a proper dichroic film.I needed to reduce the insolation through our glass doors, and while I bought these rolls a year ago I only applied them last week. It has made a big difference! Before film, inside floor temperature in the sun measured at 36°C, compared with the shaded part at 24°C. Later, when it had all cooled down again, I installed the film. Next day at the same time the bright part of the floor was 28°C and the shaded part 25°C. The step outside was 45°C.I've also added it to some south facing bedroom windows. My pic shows a very thin line of unfiltered daylight down the trimmed edge of the film, in focus but the garden view is of course out of focus. How it might be done if you are as OCD as me.1. Clean the glass and the surrounds very carefully, removing all contaminants, especially traces of Windowlene or Flash, etc.2. Check the scalpel/craft knife is very sharp.3. Fill a clean spray bottle with water and a drop of Fairy liquid to work as a wetting agent. Use this solution and a clean old soft J-cloth for a final clean of the surface.4. Move the Clear Film sticky tab to the side at the top, this will make peeling it off later much easier.5. Stick some generous tabs of Sellotape on the film across the top, one each corner and one (or two) in the middle depending on how wide. This is so the film can be given a first position hanging in place from the frame by the sellotape; now it is easy to adjust and trim as necessary to make sure it covers all the glass with a small margin of about a centimetre at the sides, and maybe a bit more top and bottom.6. Spray the glass generously, so it’s running with water.7. Carefully begin peeling down the clear film from the sticky back of the silver film, keeping it all away from the glass. An assistant can help here, because now is also a good time to spray the back of the silver film, but it is possible for one person with a narrower glass.8. About halfway through peeling, check the centre of the silver film is hanging true, and now is a good time to begin helping it to stick, but only with a light brush down the wetted centre, simply to control it.9. Remove the rest of the clear film, paying attention to the centre and hanging true, and covering all the glass.10. If it is in the correct position, only now begin to gently work the water out to the edges, radially from the centre, initially using another soft cloth. Use a squeegee only when the film is secure and wrinkle free, and always work towards the edges from the centre.11. Once the film is stable, sellotape removed, most of the water excluded, and the edges are well worked into the corners and glazing seal, then trim it with the craft knife. Try and do it with a single firm pass along each edge (without damaging the rubber seal), ideally use a ruler to keep the film flat and guide the knife tip. Pay careful attention to the corners which are guaranteed to try and mess things up.12. Finish off with the soft cloth, paying attention to the edges and seals.13. Do not overwork the film; this can introduce wrinkles because it is more likely to stretch after a good soak.14. Allow it to dry overnight, maybe a couple of days even, before succumbing to the temptation to tidy it up a bit more.

Heat blocker
Super easy to install came with all the tools that I needed. It really does work well you can see outside. Nobody can see it except for at night time if your lights are on then they can see in your trailer. It does keep the heat down very well.

Easy to install.
Took a lot of patience but came out perfect. Love the mirror look.

Not 100% privacy on inside or out
Not 100% privacy inside or out. It is very hard to see from the outside in with the mirror but if you come up close enough to the glass you can see inside a small amount during the day. It does seem to block a lot of heat out so if you're looking for that this is definitely going to be good for that. I have apartments across from me so I'm trying to get a little bit of privacy from my sliding doors. If you look at the one picture you can see that it's clear to see my daughter's Toy Box in front of the window from outside with the film on. And you can also see that my light on the ceiling is on.

Don't do it
This film isn't mirror enough. You can see right through it.

Absolut top!
