It does what I needed, reflects the heat, visibility/privacy not an issue
Rabbitgoo 60 x 200 cm “One Way” window film. It does what I needed. It was OK to put up, if one is careful, otherwise it might be a nightmare. The privacy only works for those inside if the peeper outside has brighter light than in the room and then they only see a reflection, this is usual during the day, but the reverse at night! So draw the blinds at night. It reduces radiant heat input very significantly. This is why I bought it, and it works much better than the so-called e-coating on the glass (I paid for it, but is there any? Is this a common double-glazing con?) However, it is not as good as a proper dichroic film. I needed to reduce the insolation through our glass doors, and while I bought these rolls a year ago I only applied them last week. It has made a big difference! Before film, inside floor temperature in the sun measured at 36°C, compared with the shaded part at 24°C. Later, when it had all cooled down again, I installed the film. Next day at the same time the bright part of the floor was 28°C and the shaded part 25°C. The step outside was 45°C. I've also added it to some south facing bedroom windows. My pic shows a very thin line of unfiltered daylight down the trimmed edge of the film, in focus but the garden view is of course out of focus. How it might be done if you are as OCD as me. 1. Clean the glass and the surrounds very carefully, removing all contaminants, especially traces of Windowlene or Flash, etc. 2. Check the scalpel/craft knife is very sharp. 3. Fill a clean spray bottle with water and a drop of Fairy liquid to work as a wetting agent. Use this solution and a clean old soft J-cloth for a final clean of the surface. 4. Move the Clear Film sticky tab to the side at the top, this will make peeling it off later much easier. 5. Stick some generous tabs of Sellotape on the film across the top, one each corner and one (or two) in the middle depending on how wide. This is so the film can be given a first position hanging in place from the frame by the sellotape; now it is easy to adjust and trim as necessary to make sure it covers all the glass with a small margin of about a centimetre at the sides, and maybe a bit more top and bottom. 6. Spray the glass generously, so it’s running with water. 7. Carefully begin peeling down the clear film from the sticky back of the silver film, keeping it all away from the glass. An assistant can help here, because now is also a good time to spray the back of the silver film, but it is possible for one person with a narrower glass. 8. About halfway through peeling, check the centre of the silver film is hanging true, and now is a good time to begin helping it to stick, but only with a light brush down the wetted centre, simply to control it. 9. Remove the rest of the clear film, paying attention to the centre and hanging true, and covering all the glass. 10. If it is in the correct position, only now begin to gently work the water out to the edges, radially from the centre, initially using another soft cloth. Use a squeegee only when the film is secure and wrinkle free, and always work towards the edges from the centre. 11. Once the film is stable, sellotape removed, most of the water excluded, and the edges are well worked into the corners and glazing seal, then trim it with the craft knife. Try and do it with a single firm pass along each edge (without damaging the rubber seal), ideally use a ruler to keep the film flat and guide the knife tip. Pay careful attention to the corners which are guaranteed to try and mess things up. 12. Finish off with the soft cloth, paying attention to the edges and seals. 13. Do not overwork the film; this can introduce wrinkles because it is more likely to stretch after a good soak. 14. Allow it to dry overnight, maybe a couple of days even, before succumbing to the temptation to tidy it up a bit more.

I definitely recommend!
This is so easy to apply this is my first time ever doing this and it is so simple I was expecting to struggle but not at all this product is perfect for me bc I can’t pull my blinds down bc things are in the way and it stops the sun from blinding me in the morning and the appearance is beautiful is very good for privacy and I got the perfect size it covers 2 windows and about a half but I haven’t done the other one up yet and still let’s a lot of light thru definitely recommend and I will show the difference in lighting

Great stuff. Make sure you can install it properly.
Works really well. Extremely happy with it and glad to be rid of net curtains. However instalation is not easy, so be warned. Make sure to use soapy water in spray bottle, a good squeegee thing of some kind for air bubbles and a small craft like knife (this is what worked best for us). I'm not blaming installation on the product as the film is great but just wanted to mention about what we found worked best.

Good but makes your house VERY dark.
It somewhat works. However please be aware that this makes your house constantly dark. It feels like your house is constantly at 4:30pm in December when it is starting to get dark. Doesn't matter how sunny/bright it is outside, you will still have no sunlight coming in. I have had to sit with lights and lamps on all day meaning that people can now see into the house from outside as its bright inside. I have always had some form of mirror film on my windows and yes it does make it slightly darker but this is very strong stuff. It is super easy to install, but I will be removing and replacing with something not to dark as I feel like i'm living in a morgue due to how dark and depressing its made my house feel.

Great quality, requires some skill and patience
This is the 3rd roll that I buy. I first bought it some years ago to use on a rented house for privacy. I'm now renting a flat and decided to buy it again. I am not the most patient person in the world and perhaps I lack the skills but I find it a bit challenging to attach it on my own, I feel like 2 hands are not enough. It's doable but ended up with tiny bubbles which could perhaps be prevented but I ran out of patience. When I have another set of hands for help, there are no bubbles left, but it still takes effort to make sure it's straight. The corners are a pain in the rear as they don't seem to stick on the glass properly but it's hardly noticeable. I love the end result anyway and I absolutely love the thickness and texture of it. It gives great privacy without losing brightness. I bought it before, bought it again and will definitely continue buying it in the future.

Heat Reflection but Difficult to Apply Perfectly.
I bought this window film mainly to reduce heat and improve daytime privacy in a sunny room, and overall I think it works quite well once installed, although the application process was definitely more difficult than expected. The first thing I noticed after fitting it was that the one-way mirror effect actually works nicely during the daytime. From outside it gives good privacy while still allowing natural light into the room, which was exactly what I wanted. What impressed me most is the heat reduction. The room genuinely feels less harsh during sunny parts of the day, and the film helps cut down glare quite a bit as well. I also liked that the film size gives plenty to work with for larger windows, and once sections are applied properly it does give a cleaner and more modern appearance to the glass. However, the main reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the installation was much harder than expected. Despite taking time, using plenty of water and using applicator tools similar to a squeegee, I still ended up with quite a few creases, bumps and trapped bubbles. Some of the bubbles also make little popping sounds when pressed, which makes it feel like air is still trapped underneath certain areas even after smoothing it multiple times. I do think part of this comes down to the film itself being slightly difficult to handle because larger sections can crease quite easily during positioning. That said, once fully installed and viewed from a short distance away, the overall appearance still looks decent and the reflective finish works well. I also appreciate that it blocks a noticeable amount of sunlight and helps the room feel slightly cooler during warmer days. I think this is a decent privacy and heat reflective film that performs well once applied, but you definitely need patience during installation and it may not go on perfectly smoothly, especially on larger windows. If you mainly want improved daytime privacy and heat reduction, it does the job well, but be prepared for a slightly frustrating application process.

Heat blocker
Super easy to install came with all the tools that I needed. It really does work well you can see outside. Nobody can see it except for at night time if your lights are on then they can see in your trailer. It does keep the heat down very well.

Not 100% privacy on inside or out
Not 100% privacy inside or out. It is very hard to see from the outside in with the mirror but if you come up close enough to the glass you can see inside a small amount during the day. It does seem to block a lot of heat out so if you're looking for that this is definitely going to be good for that. I have apartments across from me so I'm trying to get a little bit of privacy from my sliding doors. If you look at the one picture you can see that it's clear to see my daughter's Toy Box in front of the window from outside with the film on. And you can also see that my light on the ceiling is on.

Don't do it

Absolut top!
