Like many of you I was on the hunt for something that was not a massive waste of space and still provided a safe space for my bestie. The Etsy ones are wayyyyy outside my price range so I settled on this little gem. I needed something to not look like a dog crate. this crate allows access in the front and the side giving me freedom to move it around where I think it suits the room best. I rearrange often so flexibility was important while my bestest boy keeps a safe space. Regular crates are not visually appealing or useful otherwise. The quality is decent for the price. Honestly I was expecting worse. This was a pleasant surprise. It took me about an hour to put it together because well I had a power drill. directions were easy. came with every thing. Nothing cracked or broken. The locks seem a little flimsy so I wouldn’t recommend any fur baby who jail breaks. Update* The wood cracked on the bottom. He stood to come out and I heard it snap below him. We had this about a month or less. He isn’t rough or jumpy. Unfortunately it’s not designed for medium/large size dogs. I Contacted the seller and they were immediately responsive and able to resolve in a timely manner. Kudos to the seller! They said it supposed to support up to 70lbs. I wouldn’t recommend any dog heavier then 50lbs. However they did help me resolve this so I have no complaints. Great customer support.

For particleboard, I am impressed by the sturdiness of this kennel. I have dogs that love their kennels and do not try to escape. (My girl curled up in this one to take a nap before we got it moved into place!) If a dog wanted to escape, they could probably easily do so. It looks much nicer than the wire kennel, and the XL is the perfect size for each of my dogs (2 golden retrievers and a lab mix). The sliding door is awesome for increased space in our home and super functional. I think well worth the money. It was a bit challenging to construct, but we just took our time and went slowly and it worked out perfect, with even the sliding door working perfectly on the first try!

I really like this crate. Looks great and is sturdy and well built. Easy to assemble because all the hardware, bolts, everything is labeled well. The reason for 4 stars is that all of the hardware is black EXCEPT the latches for the doors which is ridiculous. I purchased black latches myself and had to make some alterations to make them fit because I couldn't stand putting chrome latches when everything else is black. Otherwise couldn't be happier with the purchase.

This dog crate is absolutely beautiful. It’s functional and also a great piece of furniture. The instructions are pretty easy to follow but it’s a pretty heavy product and would be much easier to assemble with two people. This is because 3/4 of the way through you have to flip the huge thing over. I was able to put it together myself in about 3 hours. My Australian cattle dog/husky mix has plenty of room and he loves it! I highly recommend this product.

DO NOT BUY! DO NOT BUY! DO NOT BUY! This is the worst dog cage Amazon has ever allowed to be sold. It is NOT heavy duty. It came broken right out of the box with a busted door, and the company didn’t do a single thing to help. They don’t respond, they don’t replace parts, they don’t stand behind their product at all. This cage is straight-up cheap Chinese junk. The bars bend with barely any pressure, pieces fall apart, and the whole thing feels like a total scam. I wasted over $200 on garbage. Save your money and your sanity — DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH.

I couldn’t be happier with this crate. It’s spacious enough for my two miniature schnauzers to sleep in together comfortably. I really like the open feel. It doesn’t look or feel like a closed-off cage and the top that lifts up makes it so convenient to access when I need to. It was also very easy to assemble and feels sturdy once put together. If you’re looking for a crate that gives your dogs room to move around while still looking nice in your space, this is a great choice.

First off, this is great quality and has such a good look! This was packaged very well with plenty of protection, thank you for that. This is perfect for small fur babies with plenty of head room and can sit all the way up properly. We have a small beagle who’s fully grown and is 15lbs. We also have a petite cat who’s fully grown who’s about 6lbs. However, we customized this when it came to putting the board in between them to give our beagle some more room. Maybe the XL would’ve done the trick for us. It was a no brainer if you have a drill handy to drill in some new holes. If not it would’ve been way too small for him if we didn’t. They ended up fitting perfect in it though. This is only for them to sleep in at night and through out the day we left if open and they go in and out on their own. The wheels is such a plus to move around for your convenience. I highly recommend this size only for small fur babies if they’re sharing. One regular size beagle can fit in this since the board can move much more to the right. My babies loved this and we are happy with this product. Came much sooner too and this was perfect because, it’s their birthday week!

Great kennel and just what I was looking for! It was very easy to put together and looks great in the room I put it in. It is pretty sturdy, but I don’t know how well it would hold up to a dog that really wanted out of it. My puppy is kennel trained so doesn’t try at all, but everything rattles a little when he stretches out in it and kicks it. The door had also gotten a little stiff after a couple of weeks of use, but oil will probably work great on it. If you’re looking for a pretty, functional kennel for a dog that is well behaved in his kennel, this is great. If you’re looking for a sturdy kennel for a dog that wants out….I don’t think this is right for you. I have now changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars. Update- my dog has now broken out of the kennel twice. I think both times happened by accident. I think he pushed the sliding door hard enough to knock it off it’s runners while stretching, then continued to worry at it til it came off. This has now broken the wood and damaged the track that the door slides in. Definitely not a tough, durable kennel. But it was pretty while it lasted. Since I updated my review their Customer Service has reached out to be to help. They offered so much support and were so wiling to work with us even though the product was sound, just not as durable as expected. When this kennel dies I will gladly buy from them again. We plan on screwing the sliding door into the side so it can’t move and it will be more stable, then well use the side door only.
