Panasonic Cleaning cartidge (2 Pack) ES8249/8109/7109

I do not understand the negative comments that I see about this item. Granted these are not the cheapest and they do indeed add a fixed monthly cost to shaving but when used the razor comes out fresh and clean daily. When purchasing a razor with a cleaning system (which you pay extra for) it is good make full use of it. I previously owned a Braun equivalent and the cartridges are entirely different. The Braun system works out cheaper per month but the Panasonic system does a much better job as the Panasonic system cleans and dries the razor whereas the Braun cleaning unit leaves the razor saturated with the cleaning liquid (literally) and these can (and did in my case) lead to skin allergy/soreness. I personally like this product and I would say that it costs me about six pounds per month to keep my razor clean and fresh.

These cleaning cartridges seem to do the job efficiently. Some reviewers have suggested using washing up liquid or liquid soap instead but the proper cleaning fluid also includes lubricant; given the price of the foil and cutters for these razors I don't think it's worth skimping on the clearing products. The cleaning cartridge didn't last long but I've since learned the following trick; when the razor says it needs to be cleaned, take the foil/cutter assembly off and tap the hair clippings out into the sink. Then press and hold the power button on the razor until it enters cleaning mode and run the head under the tap. Pop the foil/cutter back on and clean the razor in the cleaning station. This way the razor gets properly cleaned and lubricated but by removing most of the stubble first, the cleaning cartridge lasts months.

These are great little cleaning cartridges and keep your shaver clean and lubricated. When using these there is no need to oil your shaver with the oil supplied. They are a touch pricey I feel but they do a great job. I extend the life of mine by giving my shaver a quick rinse first to get rid of as much hair as possible.

Compatible with the ES-LF71 cleaning unit. This product contains two cartridges, working out at £5 per unit. You may be able to find deals elsewhere to get them fractionally cheaper (at the time of writing you could buy three units and six units and make small savings). The cleaning chemicals have an expiry date of six months once the seals have been removed. Provided you also clean the razor manually using the 'sonic cleaning mode' in addition to the cleaning stand, these cartridges can last for several months. Full disclosure: I am fair-haired and do not need to shave every day.

Delivered the next day after ordering. This is a must buy item for your Panasonic shaver cleaner as is the best way to keep the shaver at its optimum condition. Having used similar systems from Philips for several years I'm now totally impressed by this system. One piece of advice; if you choose not to use the cleaner after each use, please remember to use a lubricating oil before you use it next time to avoid damaging the shaver.

I have been buing this for some time and I find it indispensable for my shaving. However, it could be cheaper.

They do the job well but are overpriced, I only ordered these to tide me over untill a friend goes to the States to visit family. I ordered 12 (a years supply) for the eqiuvalent of £20 from Amazon.com, a third of what they cost in the UK

These are the official product so work as well as expected. However, this is the best price I could find for these anywhere, so consequently, I would recommend getting them here.

Ich habe einige Zeit versucht, meinen Panasonic Rasierer ohne diese Kartuschen zu benutzen. Allerdings spürt man bei einer regelmäßigen Reinigung mit der Kartusche (bei mir bei jedem Laden, also ca. 1x pro Woche) doch sofort eine Verbesserung, das Rasurergebnis ist besser und die Rasur angenehmer, da der Kopf besser über die Haut gleitet und der Rasierer sauberer und leiser läuft. Selbst bei manueller Pflege und etwas Öleinsatz war das Ergebnis bei weitem nicht so gut. Schade ist, dass die Reinigungsflüssigkeit gelöst im Wasser der Station verbleibt, verliert man Wasser (was recht leicht passiert, wenn die Station etwas schief steht) und füllt neues nach geht die Wirkung verloren und eine neue Kartusche ist fällig. Bei einer Benutzung einmal die Woche halten sich die Kosten aber sehr in Grenzen, dann hält eine Kartusche bei mir gut sechs Monate. Ich möchte auf sie jedenfalls nicht mehr verzichten.

Muy útil si tienes la costumbre de utilizar el aparato de limpieza de Panasonic. Su duración es superior a las especificaciones del producto.
